Chapter 12

I was all refreshed from the long nap Bill and I had together. I woke up in his arms which was so nice. We were currently getting ready so that I could officially meet his mom and step dad. I was a little worried about Tom though. Would he try to take a bite out of me again? I put a dress on and fixed my hair and make up as Bill got ready. Once I saw myself in the mirror I frowned though. I was huge. I placed my hands on my stomach and looked down.
"Liebe what's wrong?" Bill asked as he wrapped his hands around my waist and set his chin on my shoulder.
"I-I'm huge." I say and start to cry.
"You're beautiful liebe and soon we will have two little ones to love." Bill said and set his hands on my stomach over mine and we felt two little kicks.
"They kicked." I said looking up at Bill. He wiped my tears and kissed me.
"Let's go downstairs love." Bill said and took my hand and we headed downstairs. Once we were downstairs he lead me to the dining room where dinner was being served. It was pasta! I sat next to Bill and his brother was across from me. His mother was on my right and his step father was next to Tom.
"It's lovely to finally meet you dear. I'm Simone." Bill's mom said
"Courtney. It's wonderful to finally meet you. Bill talks a lot about you." Simone continued.
"Does he? He hasn't mentioned a thing about you?" I said.
I don't remember Bill mentioning anything about his family.He was probably nervous about his family finding out I was human.
"Really? Bill why haven't you me to mentioned this girl. Are you that ashamed of me." His mom teased.
"Mom!" Bill whined and I took his hand in mine and squeezed it and then let go.
"So how long have you two been together?" Gordan asked
"A little over a year." Bill said.
"I see you are pregnant.  When are you due?" Simone asked curiously.
"In about 4 months. We're having twins." I said
"Ooo! Do you know the gender?" Simone asked excitedly.
I looked at Bill I wasn't sure whether he wanted to surprise his family or tell them now. He just nodded and I guess that was the signal to tell them.
"We are having a boy and a girl." I said with a smile. I glanced at Tom and saw the anger on his face as he glared at his brother.
"So exciting!" Simone said excitedly.
"I can't take it anymore!" Tom said slamming his hand on the table causing me to jump out of my seat almost.
"Tom!" Simone said.
"What mother?! I can't take it anymore! Why are you being so nice to this human?! Since when do you and Gordon care about them?!" Tom yelled in anger.
"She is your brother's wife so we will treat her with respect." Simone said.
"Tom is sort of right Simone. Why are we being kind to her? She is human! We crave human blood!" Gordon said and I shuddered and wrapped my arms protectively around my stomach.
"Both of you stop!" Simone yelled.
"No mother! I will never accept her! She is a human and those things she carries will be half breeds just like Bill and I! You know how we were bullied growing up! That's just going to happen to his children! I hate humans and always will!" Tom yelled and stormed away in anger.
"I-I'm sorry." I said sadly and could feel the tears starting.
"Oh don't worry about him dear. Tom has always had a short temper. Right Billy?" Simone asked Bill. I looked over and he just nodded. I sighed and nodded.
"May I be excused?  Carrying these twins around is making me tired." I said as they kicked.
"Oh of course dear! Bill run a bath for your lovely wife." Simone said
"No really he doesn't have to." I say.
"Nonsense! Bill run her a bath." Simone said and Bill helped me up and we headed up stairs. I undressed and Bill ran me a bath. Once I got my make up and stuff off I slid into the bath.
"Join me?" I asked and Bill nodded and slid his clothes off and got in behind me so I could lean my head on his chest.
"I like your mom." I said as I soaked in the bath.
"She likes you too and just ignore Tom. He'll have to get used to you because you are mine forever." Bill said and I turned my head and kissed him.
"Bill when are we going back?" I asked wondering when we would go back to our place.
"We are staying here. It's safer here for you and our children." Bill said which shocked me.
"But Bill they will probably hunt me down." I said worried.
"Don't worry love they won't find us." Bill said and kissed my head.
"We still have to think of names for these two." I said.
"We will don't worry. Let's just enjoy this moment." Bill said and we kissed.
