Chapter 20

Bill's POV
I couldn't get what the witch said out of my head. No matter what choice I made my wife and I would be most likely shunned from either race. Did I become human or make her what I am? I am so confused. I let out a sigh of frustration as I walked along the castle.
"Billa? Is everything alright dear?" My mother Simone asked.
"I went to the witch." I simply said.
"And?" My mom urged on.
"She said that I can either become human or my wife can become what I am, but no matter what I choose our children will remain as they are, but we will most likely be shunned, by our races." I said.
"I don't think that will happen my little Billa. Whatever you choose to do, I will support you. Even, if your brother does not." My mother said.
"Thank you mum." I said and hugged my mother tightly.
Just then, a gaurd ran over to us frantically and tried catching his breath. I released my grip from my mother, and she told him to calm down.
"What is it?" My mother questioned.
"It's Prince Tom!" The guard said.
"What did he do now?" Our mother sighed, he was always getting in trouble.
"Him and King Gordon have kidnapped Prince Bill's wife and are flying somewhere."
"What?!" I yelled frantically.
Courtney was due with our children soon and and Tom had the audacity to do this! Did he really hate the thought of me being with a human that much.
"Do you know where they are headed?" My mother asked the guard.
"I think I know where. I think Prince Tom is going to take her back to her village and turn her over." The guard said.
"Mom I have to stop him. She'll get put back into slavery or worse they will kill her!" I said frantically.
"Calm down. I will go with you." My mom started and then turned towards the guard. "Get a unit together. Prince Bill will head out to follow Tom and Gordon and we will follow right behind them! Go now!" My mother ordered and the guard ran off.
"Go now, try and do what you can to stall Gordon and Tom." I nodded and flew up into the air and followed my brother's scent. I prayed that my wife and children would be okay. I did not want to see my wife go through what she went through in that village again. Please hang on my love.
