Investigation

[Character : Rhatu ]

Darkness, again, I see darkness only, it's comfortable. Again, the darkness calls me with Lunggar's voice. Wait, that is really Lunggar's voice calling me.

Time to wake up. I get out of the darkness to see Lunggar on top of me again, but this time we are in a different location, we are in the party area.

"Lunggar, why am I here?" I asked. Then I remember about Ezra. I hesitantly speak, "Ezra! Ezra is-"

"I know. I'm sorry, but he's actually dead." Said Lunggar, I feel sadness coming to me, as I turn to face the others, but it wasn't the others I am looking for, it's Aila.

There I see her, with Dion on her side, tears are coming out of her eyes, crying on her hands, I feel bad.

"Pupupu, seems like someone really did kill." The voice that said this sentence, it's Monokuma's, I turn to face the direction of the sound which was the food table, he was standing there.

"This is your doing, you made us go crazy!" Said Tio.

Monokuma shows a claw at Tio, "It's not my fault! It's the rules, I just say what they are." He said. I feel like punching so hard that he dies, but patience stops me.

"Now then, I want you all to investigate this murder scene to find out who is the killer, I'll give you two hours from now, tata!" He said then he jumps out of this situation.

We have no choice but to investigate, Aila also starts to raise her face, now then, it's investigation time.

I need to check the body, but that's going to be creepy, what should I do? Then, Tio comes to me.

"Rhatu, I'm going to investigate the body, can you accompany me?" He asked. I give him the okay face and we start walking to the body.

The laundry room, Ezra's body is simply not entertaining, it's scary enough to scare an adult. At my back, I notice Aila is here too.

"Aila, if you're too scared you don't need to come." I said to her.

"No, I want to help, I want to ensure Ezra's death is not in vain." She said bravely.

I'm proud of her that she is brave, now this is more better, we can solve the mystery easily now.

I start by looking at Ezra's body, the stab on his stomach is surely the cause of death, but that can't be enough for clues.

"Rhatu, look at Ezra's forehead." Said Tio while pointing at his head. I take a look at it and see a mark of blood on his forehead at the right.

"Was he hit on the head?" Asked Tio.

"Looks like it, the shape of the wound is rather a like a circle shape." I said.

"Guys, I found a hammer in the washing machine and it's covered with blood." Said Aila.

I start to investigate the hammer, it is really covered with blood. So, it means that Ezra was fighting the culprit before they killed him, then I start to explain what's in my head.

"He must've seen the culprit by surprise. Poor Ezra." Said Tio. Ezra never deserved this. This is just too cruel.

I tell them to keep investigating the laundry room, I walk outside to go to the bathroom where Ezra said he went.

The bathroom is quite convenient for having blue stalls and only three sinks. Time to think, Ezra was in the bathroom, after he used the toilet, he washed his hands, to prove that Ezra was here, I have to check the sink.

Yes, Ezra was here, small puddles of water are on the sink, that is proof that Ezra washed his hands!

Next, I have to ask the others. I'll start with Lunggar. My feet walk towards Lunggar who was looking for clues at the party area. I approach him to ask.

"Lunggar, can you tell me who was in charge of which duty for the party?" I asked.

"Sure, Anya and Gabby were in charge of cleaning up, Radka and Hanief got the cooking, Aila and Ezra were in cleaning duty, Dion, Arriva and Tio were to prepare the party's set up, forks, glass' , place mats and others, lastly Malika and Widya were in charge of guarding the outside to ensure Monokuma doesn't cause trouble for us." He explained.

Ok, I think I should talk to Dion. I thanked Lunggar and went to Dion who was washing the dishes.

"Dion, I want to ask, where do you get the forks and glass'?" I asked.

"Hmm? From the storage, it's locked and only I have the key." Said Dion.

"Can you unlock it? I need to check on something. " I said.

"Sure." Said Dion.

He unlocked it for me, I walk into the storage room to look for clues, everything looks fine with only forks and spoons, strange they don't have drinks in the storage. Wait, I see a rack of hammers. No, one of the hammers is missing, could it be Dion is the culprit?

More evidence is needed before we can decide. I walk more and more, to find another door, I open it to find myself in the corridor next to the bathroom. So, this is how the culprit go to Ezra.

Then, I go back to the bathroom, I haven't noticed Monokuma left a board saying how many times the toilet and dryer were used. Wait, this can be a step on finding who the culprit is, the number of times the dryer was used is zero! That means Ezra still had his hands wet and when the culprit attacked Ezra, Ezra fought back and with his wet hands he must've left traces of water on him!

I rush to somebody who has a keen eye, Tio, who is about to leave the laundry room.

"Tio, I have to ask, do you know who had their body wet during the party?" I asked.

"I did notice a few, Gabby had her hair wet because she forgot to use the hair dryer, Arriva had his arms wet because of trying to set up the tables from the storage but accidently spilled water on himself, and Dion had his hands wet from washing the dishes." Said Tio.

If only there were only one person who was wet it would've been more easier, but I thanked Tio and went on my way to the lounge.

Ting, tong, tang, it was a sound of a bell. Then the speaker starts to speak.

"Times out! Investigation time over! Please make your way to the red door next to the party lounge." Said Monokuma.

It's time, a trial of life and death, my feet are already walking there, the others are already there, we're ready I guess.

Then the red door opens, what comes out is an elevator, we enter it, and it takes us down, to the life and death trial. While fear is with me, confidence as well, I am sure I am ready.
