Part 5

"Good morning, guys."

I already finished getting ready. All I needed to do was eat breakfast.
I smiled at the 4 of them sitting on bar stools at the lavastone counter-tops with plates in front of them.
They said 'good morning' simultaneously. I sat beside Ben. Dan, the head royal chef, put a plate full of namnams, a.k.a. food, in front of me. I love how I get over things so quickly.

"Good morning, Dan. And, thank you."
"No problem, An."

He nodded and went back to the oven. I smiled at the other chefs preparing things and cooking. I've always preferred eating in the gigantic kitchen than the gigantic, empty dining hall.

After eating, we headed out front where butlers and maids handed us our school bags, bowing. I smiled and greeted them. I don't like the bowing, but I've gotten used to it; you know with hanging out with Chancey and Jamie here all the time, plus growing up here and all. From the skeptical looks on Ben and Lee's faces, they still have to adjust. I grinned as I caught the sight of my car already parked up front in front of their limo.

"Hey! Where are my keys?"

I scrunched my eyebrows, frowning at the guys. Chancey put his hand in his jean pocket and threw what I presume to be my keys in my direction. I caught it easily. Usually I wonder if I'd be able to catch things being thrown at me, but I've realized I always, surprisingly catch them instinctively.
I grinned and opened my fist, revealing two identical red keys and a key chain with my name and business number on it.

As to not confuse anyone, I have three phones: My personal phone, which my contacts only consist of my closest friends, my family, close relatives, Auntie, Uncle and my personal assistant, Holly. Oh, Chancey and Jamie, too, of course; my friend phone, or which is more like my public phone with the number I usually give to friends, schoolmates and other people I know; and my business phone, which is the one with the number I give to my parents' business partners and other people who want to offer me jobs and stuff.

"Oh, Annie. I almost forgot, Holly just arrived."

Right on cue, Holly strode over to me. She's 21, but I've known her since I was 14.
When Dad decided I was ready to learn about our business at 16, he always made me go to our company's main building and learn the ropes. When I had become an expert, -- at least he says so-- he scheduled me to join him in meetings.

Then my mom also wanted me and Jace to look at her works, designs and critique her models. After going to a few of her fashion shows and being introduced to her business partners, we were offered part-time modelling jobs; we took some small ones and declined the bigger offers.

School work became harder to keep track of with meetings and offers, so Dad told me to hire a PA. Holly needed a part time job to put on her record, because she never worked, ever, in her whole-life. At first I was skeptical, but she proved to be a hard-worker. She was 19 back then, and she's been my only PA.

"Good morning, Anne, Nate, James and.."

She trailed off, giving me a brief glance then glanced at Ben and Lee. She didn't bother curtsying to C and J 'cause it annoys the chocolate out of the guys.

"These are Ben and Leo." Well, Lee did say most people just called him Leo and that Chancey and I were weird for calling him Lee.

She nodded and smiled at them

"Oh. Ben, Leo."
"Ben, Lee, this is Holly, my PA."

They nodded and everyone exchanged hellos and good mornings.

"You already memorized your class schedules, and I suppose you'd want me to take your two other phones from you?"

I smiled and nodded. I took my fp (friend phone) and bp (business phone) out of my pocket and handed it to her, and she put them in her purse. I'm a lazy bum, so I don't bother checking my phones most of the time.

"If you need anything else, just ring. I'll inform you of calls and tell you, blah, blah, blah all that professional stuff. I'll go over your future schedules with you same place after class?"

I chuckled. "Yeah. See you later, Holl."
I hugged her quickly.
"Thanks."
"No problemo. You pay me too much anyways."

I shrugged; I just think people don't get paid enough for things they do. I practically ran to my car and slid into the driver's seat. I started the car and pressed the button, bringing the roof down.

"Come on, guys! Hurry up! I finally get to drive my baby!"

The guys chuckled, and Holly shook her head disapprovingly and said goodbyes to the guys. Ben hopped in calling shotgun, and Lee finally got into the back. I honked the horn; music to my ears.

"See you guys at school, and don't acknowledge us!"

I waved at Chancey and Jamie, grinning, and they waved back and got into their limo.
I drove towards Exit 2; I don't wanna exit through the main exit, it's too risky.  I smiled to myself; I love the feeling of the cool wind on my face. Ben turned the music player on and Hero/Heroine started playing.

As I neared the exit gates, a guard saluted at us and opened the gates, waving us through. I made my way to the main road, and soon enough, my bodyguards were hot on my tail in a black sedan similar to Chancey and Jamie's bodyguards. Ben and Lee were talking about my car when my phone rang. I put it beside me on the seat when I came in.

"Answer it, fugger." Ben decided to tease me about coconuts, so I called him fugger.

"Yeah.. uhhuh..okay..thanks," Ben mumbled into my phone.

"Zander told me to tell you to bring your roof up."

I sighed; of course he would. Zander's the team leader of my bodyguards. I pressed the button, making my hood go up, then the windows and concentrated on the now populated road.

As I entered the school's gates, Howard, the security guard, stopped the car to check my ID. I just brought my windows down, and he cheerfully greeted me and waved me in. Well, at least I know all the staff and personnel here already.

I parked my car in my parking space; yeah, my parking space. Everyone gets their own parking spaces; and they had to give us the ones in front of the main building, right next to C's and J's. Actually, mine was right next to Chancey's and Ben and Lee's followed after mine with all of our names painted on the parking spots.

My bodyguards parked into Lee's parking spaces and got out looking all professional; well, all of the bodyguard's here looked serious.

When I got out, I noticed all of the girls were wearing designer dresses; some even from Mom's A&C fashion line and her other one, J&J fashion line --which of course stands for Annie and Chancey and Jace and James, but she doesn't tell anyone that. Those fashion lines were actually designed for us; meaning the clothes, dresses and suits were ones we wouldn't  actually mind wearing.

Most boys were sporting I'm-rich-and-I'm-to-cool-for-school looks, while others wore business suits. They must've prepared their ensembles for the first day since this would be the only day we're allowed to put off wearing the school uniform.

Ben handed me my bag, and I walked towards the entrance with both boys following beside me. People were staring at us-- which was expected since the school doesn't accept transferees, only in freshman year. Scholarship kids are the only transferees allowed.

Whispers started erupting from the students, and I looked back to see what the fuss was about. Of course it would be C and J's arrival. Their limo was accompanied by 2 sedans, and only one sedan parked into Jamie's space. Daymon's team emerged from the parked sedan. They looked around while C and J got out of the limo door opened by the driver, who bowed and left.

"Think we should dump our stuff in our lockers?"

Ben and Lee nodded, and I lead them to our lockers which were just beside each other. Of course Auntie insisted on our lockers being right next to C and J's.

After we dumped our things, we headed to the headmaster's office. I already memorized our schedules, and we all had the same schedules anyway since we're all advanced.
I opened the door to the main office, making the bell chime. Ms. Everson or just Lila, Mr. G's assistant, was focused on her computer typing.

"Good morning. If you're here to see Headmaster Anderson he's--------"

She trailed off when she looked up noticing me. Her face lit up, and she smiled sheepishly.

"Oh. Anna, sorry. I didn't know it was you. Well, these must be Mr. McLane and Mr. Trevor. Headmaster Anderson is talking to someone, but he wouldn't want you to be late. He wouldn't mind if you go in. Actually, I think he'd be mad if you didn't."

I chuckled then said, "Drop the formalities, Lila. You can call him Grayson with us."

She nodded and pointed to the door of Mr. G's office. Ben and Lee were getting acquainted with Lila as I opened the door slowly and poked my head inside. A man was talking to Mr. G, and they both looked at me. Mr. G stood up, smiling brightly.

"Oh, Anna! Do come in."

He nodded to the man in front of him and the man stood up and shook his hand.

"We'll talk later, Con."

The man smiled at Mr. G and made his way to the door. I went inside his office with Ben and Lee after the guy exited. We sat down on his sofa, now making us face him as he, too, sat down.

"Is something wrong? Did we forget something, An?"

I shook my head. "No, Mr. G. I just wanted to pop by. Ben, Lee, this is Headmaster Anderson, but I call him by the first letter of his first name."

Mr. G smiled warmly at them and nodded. "You two can drop formalities with me, too, except of course with the students."

He chuckled before continuing, "We wouldn't want them thinking they can all be buddy-buddy with me now, do we?"

We gave him smiles and shook our heads.

"Wonderful! Now, we best be on our way to the auditorium, you know. I still have to address all the students and introduce to them some new staff members."

"Are we still going through with the 'introducing the newbies thing'?" Lee asked half-joking, but his face showed dead seriousness.

I laughed inwardly; almost all of us have issues with attention.

Mr. G chuckled quietly. "I see everyone close to Their Royal Highnesses don't really agree with attention."

Ben whistled, humming a tune. "Not me," he said and gave us smug looks.

"Oh, yeah? Benny, you sure you don't have problems with attention? I believe your still haunted by that time we---"

He bumped my shoulder and laughed nervously. Poor Benny, he never got over that incident.
Lee smirked, and Mr. G eyed us briefly before standing up. At the same time, Lila's voice spoke through the speakers, telling everyone to head to the auditorium.

Mr. G opened the door and swept his hand, gesturing for us to go out first and bowed. Ben and Lee got out hesitantly, and I patted Mr. G on the back before heading out.

We all said bye to Lila and made our way to the auditorium. Some students were strutting while others were walking fast to the direction of the auditorium. Students eyed us curiously as Mr. G walked in-pace with us.

Mr. G sat us near the side stairs of the stage, 6 seats down from Chancey. Jamie sat next to him with guys--- who must be their friends. The guys nudged Chancey, eyeing us curiously. I almost burst out laughing as I looked at his fake confused face. I always wondered how people fell for his most see through fake expression. Well it did take me years to take-in by heart and mind his expressions, as did with Jamie's.

I quirked an eyebrow up at them nonchalantly. Their friends smiled at me and gave small waves. I eyed them suspiciously but was redirected to Mr. G clearing his throat into the microphone. He had a very authoritative posture but a very warm smile.

"Good morning, PSIS students and staff. We are all very happy to share a new school year with each and everyone of you. As tradition, I will be introducing the new faces at our exclusive school...."

I put my headphones on, which I had clipped onto my belt loops, and plugged it into my phone. I shuffled the songs and drowned  out Mr. G's introduction of the new staff. Well, I've already met them beforehand, so I closed my eyes, getting lost into the song.

I opened my eyes when someone took my headphones off my head. I pouted to my right at Lee who smirked at me. I noticed everyone in the auditorium was silent and looking at us.

"We have to go up the stage," Ben whispered into my ear from my left.

They both stood up and held their hands out for me. When I got up, Lee clipped my headphones back onto my belt loop. Mr. G was smiling at us as I followed Ben and Lee up the stage. Even though I hate attention, I usually look nonchalant, even though I also get nervous. I never show signs of nervousness, ever.

"Our 3 brilliant new additions to our senior class: Annalisa Caprione, Leonard McLane and Benjamin Trevor. I expect everyone to treat them indifferently. Treat them as you do each other since you've known each other for years."

Each of the students was either smiling, gaping, glaring or looking smugly at us.

"They're going to give us brief introductions. Ms. Caprione."

Mr. G nodded to me, and I took the mic from him. I put on my best smile, contented that I turned a lot of frowns upside down when I did so.

"Good morning, people. Just call me Anna or An. I transferred from Stars in Sky."

Hands shot up in the air, probably asking me the most obvious questions ever. I sighed dramatically and put a hand over my chest.

"I know. Why would I transfer during my senior year, and how? Would you believe me if I told you I got bored teasing the guys there and infuriating a lot of students?"

I laughed and other people showed they were amused, figuring-out that I wasn't serious.

"Well, you shouldn't believe that, 'cause it isn't true. Well, this school is the most prestigious here so it would help a lot in college."

Girls' hands shot up, and I smirked.

"And, no, it's not because I'm obsessed with the Princes and want to marry them. I won't interfere with any of you trying to get them, okay?"

I smiled at myself,  'trying'. Some faces looked relieved while others still glared, obviously not believing me. Boys looked ecstatic when I said it. Hmph. Just because I wouldn't obsess over C and J, doesn't mean I'm available. I glanced at Chancey and Jamie, who looked amused, as the guys around them nudged and were probably teasing them.

"I'm here for education. I'm outgoing and open. You can judge me if you want at the end of the day. My homeroom's with Mr. Johnson, so if your homeroom's the same as mine, I'll get to know you later."

I gave them another bright smile and bowed dramatically while students laughed. I handed my mic to Lee and gave him an encouraging pat on the back.
~~~~~~~~
After the morning introductions, we were told to head over to our homerooms first. We don't actually need any books today since it's the first day. I entered our homeroom with Ben and Lee beside me, protectively. After exiting the auditorium, guys tried to flirt with me while I was 'innocently oblivious' to it all. They immediately stood by my side when Chancey and Jamie glanced at us with murderous glints in their eyes.
Mr. Johnson read to us who our desk partners would be. And of course, mine 'coincidentally' was Chancey. I already told Auntie and Mom not to interfere with anything. I even told them not to when we came here and they suggested it.
"Now, class, you may choose your own desks with your partners."
Chancey walked over to me confidently while some girls were looking at him dreamily. I looked away from him, tapping my nose. I have a weird habit of tapping my nose. Now, where to sit? Oooh.. the desk right in the middle of the window looked very inviting.
"Wanna sit there?"
I was aware of how close he was now and chose not to look at him since we might appear too comfortable with each other. I shook my head. A couple already sat there. He ignored my shaking of the head and went up to the desk. Oh, God. Don't do that, Chancey. I calmly walked to his side.
"Hey, Fiora, Luke." Chancey smiled broadly at them.
"Hi, Prince Chanceon," Fiora said dreamily.
Luke just raised his eyebrow; obviously not a big fan of Chancey. Hmm. Maybe we'd get along. He had jet black hair and deep green eyes. Okay, stop looking at him. He might think ill of you, Anna. I diverted my attention to Chancey as he spoke.
"Well, you see, Annie--na, Ana and I wanted to sit here and..." he trailed off, eyeing them hopefully.
"Sure." Fiora smiled brightly while jumping up from her seat with her purse.
"Chan.. Uhh.. Prince Chanceon, no. They got here first"
Almost blew our covers there. Luckily, they didn't notice. Luke looked at me like he was examining me.
"Just because your the Prince doesn't mean you can get what ever you want," Luke said in a bored tone. I smiled warmly at him.
"Come on, Luke," Fiora said, tugging on his arm while I put my fist out at Luke.
He bumped fists with me and smiled.
"I'm Luke Gregory, and you're the popular new girl," he said with raised eyebrows.
I laughed and heard Chancey snicker quietly beside me.
"Popular, ehh, no.  New, yes. Just call me Anna."
He smirked and got up. I looked at him questioningly. He gestured his hand to his seat, smiling. I raised my eyebrow at him.
"Come on, Fiora, let's take the seat out front."
Fiora jumped and smiled at us, well, mostly Chancey, before heading to the front. Luke turned his head to smile at me.
"Uhh. Thanks," I said slowly and was slightly confused.
"Thank you," Chancey said and smiled after them.
All the students were watching our conversation discreetly. Well, I am with the prince. I had a small smile on my lips as I shrugged and sat down on the chair Luke sat in, beside the window. Ben and Lee were seated two desks away, glancing at us every so often.
Chancey sat beside me and gave the class a small wave when they stared at us. The students immediately turned to look back at Mr. Johnson who looked  around the classroom.
"Good morning, class. We are very lucky to have all the 3 new students in our class."
Some students snickered.
"Since our class has been the same for 3 years, I hope you will all befriend them easily."
A girl in the front row raised her hand.
"Yes, Sky?"
"Can any rich person just transfer to our exclusive school now?" she asked with raised eyebrows.
Mr. J sighed.
"No, Sky. Any rich person cannot just transfer here."
"Then why is she here?" she asked, pointing at me.
"Well, Anna is an excellent student and very promising. She would've enrolled for a scholarship, but her parents insisted on paying. They even donated quite an amount of money to the school after accepting her. The school is very happy and thankful to have her."
Another girl raised her hand. "Why did she wanna transfer here though?"
I raised my own hand. "Yes, Anna?"
"Mr. J, I think I can answer their questions. They are about me anyways."
More people raised their hands and questions kept coming in. I answered every single one. Their questions varied like:
'What club are you going to join?'
'What's your connection with the other 2 new guys?'
'Why were they with you?'
'Why aren't you praising the princes?' Chancey almost laughed but turned it into a cough, pretending to feel awkward.
'What's your type?' 'Course a guy had to ask. I told him I didn't have any, and I'm not interested in dating or relationships.
'Favorite color, music, designer, make-up brand, heels?' The girls and a lot of guys were shocked when I said I despised heels and make-up.
'When's your birthday?' Everyone went silent for a moment when I answered that one, but they quickly recovered.
After an hour of answering random questions, I learned everyone's names. Mr. J then started talking about a camping trip. He said it promoted independence and responsibility. The camping trip was a yearly tradition of the school, and all the students were invited. Camp sites would be different for every homeroom class. The homeroom teacher would be the head of their own classes. They knew some of us had bodyguards, so they could set camp around us in case. I listened to him and most of the guys looked excited, even Ben and Lee. Only Sky looked as excited as me; the other girls took no interest in it.
"So, maybe this year we'd have more of you joining? Those who would like to join please raise your right hand, so I will know how many letters to send out."
I eagerly raised my hand; Sky did, too. Soon all the boys were raising their hands. Chancey was the last of the guys to raise his. After Chancey raised his hand, all the other girls raised theirs, too. Oh, God; I'm gonna be stuck in the woods with Chancey's fan club.
Mr. J looked very surprised but immediately grinned and clapped his hands.
"Wow! This will be the best camping trip ever. Maybe all the other classes will also have a full attendance."
After talking of the details of the camping trip and getting to know everyone in the room, the lunch bell finally rang. I went over to Sky and Luke who were talking near the door, waiting for me. Sky and I got along really well. She eventually believed that I had no intention of gawking at C and J. Luke and I also got along really well. The 3 of us teased each other like we've known each other for ages. Ben and Lee befriended the guys easily and some girls flirted with them. They told me they were going to sit with Matt and his jock friends at lunch.
Luke, Sky and I walked to lunch, teasing each other and laughing. We ignored all the stares and whispers. As we entered the lunch hall, I smiled at the waiters and waitresses who smiled back at me. They worked at the palace during the summer and worked here during the school year. One awesome thing about this school is the different and amazing food. Our tuition fee includes lunch buffets, lunch buffets people! The lunch hall looked more like a very expensive restaurant than a school lunch hall. Our lunch hall in Stars in Sky also looked very expensive but not like this. The Stars in Sky lunch hall didn't have these many chandeliers or velvet curtains. The food there certainly wasn't a buffet style and weren't included in the tuition. Well, the tuition there wasn't as expensive as here.
"So where are we going to sit?" I asked as I scanned the room.
Ooooh. The long table near the middle of the room looked spacious. Luke and Sky's friends are also gonna be sitting with us, and I like to have a lot of space when I eat. Plus, the table was farther away from others, so I won't feel cramped even though this hall is big.
"You can choose our lunch table. We don't mind," Luke said, following my gaze to the long table.
I smiled and pointed at the long table. Luke and Sky both laughed quietly beside me. I raised my eyebrow at them. They glanced at each other and said at the same time,"Nothing". I didn't bother prying information 'cause I wanted to devour the delicious food as fast as I can. We started walking to the table when a blond dude was so bold enough to block my way. I could tell he was well built. Everyone shifted their attentions towards us. Is it me, or is there something wrong with people here wanting to get me unwanted attention?
Oh, my frig sticks, please don't be a popular snotty dude blocking my way onpurposely. Too late, he smirked and checked me out. Wait! He looks familiar. I raised my eyebrow at him as Luke and Sky stepped in front of me protectively.
"What?" I asked nicely.
"Well, I was thinking about what you said earlier and asked myself, 'why wouldn't a girl want the princes?' I came up with an answer, wanna hear it?"
I looked around and shrugged. "Uhh.. Okay?"
He stepped forward, but Luke and Sky were in front of me, so he couldn't get too near. I tapped them to let them know it was alright. They understood the gesture and stepped to the side. The blond dude took another step forward. Yeah, he does look really familiar. His bluish gray eyes gleaming in delight looked really, really familiar. He then leaned forward to my right so his lips were near my ear. I didn't care he was near 'cause I don't know, I'm just used to being around guys too much.
"Maybe because she already has them," he whispered. His voice was kind of familiar, but I think I heard it when it wasn't that deep.
I took a step back, and he smirked. I looked him from the bottom going up, trying to recognize him. He knew what I was doing, but it looked like I was checking him out. I narrowed my eyes, and then like a light bulb, it clicked. I jumped on him and hugged him tightly. I didn't care that the whole student population was watching. He tensed up at first but then hugged me back tightly, too. Whispers erupted but then halted, and some students were inviting Prince Chanceon and Prince James to sit with them. Only they could immediately divert attention.
We hugged each other silently. I closed my eyes and enjoyed our long overdue hug. I loosened my grip as he did, and we both let go at the same time. I then frowned and scrunched my eyebrows together.
"They never told me that you went to school here," I said, knowing he understood 'they' as C and J.
He shrugged.
"Well, I'm not always here. Actually, I had to threaten my manager just to have a full senior year. Especially when I heard you were transferring here, I immediately barged into his office and acted like I was really angry."
He chuckled and sighed.
"Oooh. Someone really missed me," I said in a sing-song voice.
"It's been a while."
I raised my eyebrows and put my hands on my hips. He laughed sadly.
"Okay, a really long while."
"It's been 4 long years, Thanee."
He smiled guiltily, and I sighed.
"We gotta eat then catch up. I'll be sitting over there."
I pointed to the long table, and he scrunched his eyebrows at me. He waved his hand dismissively just as I was about to ask.
"I'm sitting with you."
I shrugged then looked at the confused Luke and Sky. They nodded, and we walked to the table. Chancey and Jamie were still politely declining seating offers. Luke and Thane sat across from Sky and I. Luke then waved 5 people over to us. 2 girls and 3 guys walked over at us, smiling, but then their expressions turned into one of confusion.
"Why are you sitting here? Remember the last time? The waiters practically threw you guys out of this table," the black haired guy said.
Luke and Sky laughed while I scrunched my face up.
"Hey! In my defense, I was having a bad day," Luke said and held his hands up in a I surrender motion.
"No, Luke. You're just stubborn as hell. I'm sorry for them not telling you, but we can't sit here," he said.
"This is also the princes' favorite table. Luke and Sky sat down here once," the pretty black haired girl said.
I just raised both my eyebrows and made no move to go. From the corner of my eye, I caught Chancey's, and he winked and smiled at me then looked at the table. I guess he meant I could.
Mac, a waiter I got to know really well, rushed to our table. I shook my head and chuckled.
"Hey, Mac!"
He was about to bow but stopped and smiled sheepishly. He got too used to me being around C and J.
"Hi, Anna. Here's the menu." He handed me the menu with today's date.
"Aren't you going to sit with them?" he asked the 5 gaping students.
They nodded and sat down. After everyone ordered, I thanked Mac, and he walked away. I saw C and J sitting with a bunch of guys 3 tables down from us, facing my direction.
"What did you do to make everyone like you?" Luke asked in an amazed tone.
I chuckled. "1, not everyone likes me, dude. And, 2, I've met them before school started, and they were very nice."
I wasn't lying but not telling the whole truth either. I was actually given a grand tour and all the staff people were there. Chancey and Jamie were with me. Auntie and Mom also came by but left after sorting out details.
"Wow. I respect you now, Anna. We weren't kicked out of the table, and the princes don't mind at all," Sky said.
The black haired girl who spoke earlier coughed awkwardly. "Hi, I'm Gella, this is Brynn, Holland, Zarrin and Sashi."
Each of them had their own appeal, but they gave out very nice auras. I knew Luke and Sky were only friends with great people. Zarrin's name meant golden, guessing his parents chose it cause of his golden blond hair.
I smiled at them genuinely and said, "Nice to meet you, guys. These two psychos didn't even bother introducing us to each other."
I laughed, and they joined in.
"I'm not a psycho, she is!" Luke said at the same time Sky said, "I'm not a psycho, he is!"
We all laughed and raised our eyebrows at them. Even Thanee laughed. The two psychos just huffed and crossed their arms while muttering stuff under their breaths. Before I could talk to Thane, Mac was already near our table followed by Jenna and Dawson, who also work here. I smiled at them, and they put our plates in front of us. When they left, Gella and Brynn beamed at Thane.
"Sky, why is Seth sitting with us?" Gel asked, admiration clear in her voice.
 Sky shrugged and pointed at me. Gel raised an eyebrow. Hmm.. I never called him Seth.
"We were friends before he left for acting. He decided to sit here." I shrugged nonchalantly like he just left yesterday and we weren't apart for 4 years.
"Wow. First the the headmaster, the teachers, the waiters and the actor? The only people you need to win over now are the princes," Brynn said way too bluntly.
If only she knew.
"Oh, God. Bree, please don't turn into a prissy girly," Zar said while shaking his head rapidly.
Brynn stuck her tongue out at him and started eating. We talked easily while eating. Thane blended easily with them, and soon enough, we were all teasing each other. Is it me or is teasing a habit?
In the afternoon, we were all instructed to sign up for clubs and sports in the gym. There, I heard everyone at school is going to attend the camping trip. Brynn told me it was because of the princes; it would be the 1st time they'd be joining. I wasn't that surprised. They didn't like too many unnecessary activities. I ended up signing up for swimming, music, culinary, drama and photography. C and J also signed up on those, and I didn't let it get to me. I'd love to hang with them during our free times for the clubs. Thane  also signed up for music and drama. Big surprise there.. Not. He is a big-shot actor. They were smart enough to casually stroll around to all the clubs, so no one would know which they signed up for and follow them.
I recognized some students 'cause I've seen their faces at our birthday parties. They knew I wasn't going public with my relation to the royal family since they didn't say anything when they talked to me. I also recognized the girl from last year's party, the one complimenting Chancey. She glared at me but kept her mouth shut. The guys I recognized from the party stayed away for their own sakes. Haha.
When school ended, I texted the guys that I was heading over to Starbucks to meet with Holly and they should head home first. I said bye to my new friends and drove to Starbucks happily. At least it turned out better than I had expected.
Zander and 2 of my other bodyguards, now wearing casual clothes, went in first. The rest of the team followed casually behind me. They were good at not looking suspicious. I immediately spotted Holly and sat down beside her.
"Great first day?"
I smiled and sighed. "Better than I expected. Thane goes there, too."
"That's great. Well, not the Seth going there part. You cool with him?"
"Yup!"
"Good. I've made your schedule for this week...."
Tomorrow, I have dinner with my family after a quick meeting at our company. On Wednesday, Mom has a fashion show in the evening and an after-party. Thursday, Auntie and Uncle will be at the palace, so no leaving then. Friday, there's a business party at some hotel which the royal family will also be present at. Saturday, I have a photo shoot for a local magazine. Sunday is relax and hang-out day.
I drove home smiling. I've missed Thanee, and now I get to see him at school. C and J will aslo be there. I have awesome new friends. Ben and Lee will also be there for me. People who know of my secret know to stay away. This day was wonderful, and I almost forgot about yesterday. The kiss. Shizt! I almost forgot! I really have to remember when I'm replaying the great things! *Sigh* I face-palmed and focused my attention back on the road.
