"Who are you?" Ai stared coldly at the girl as he asked

Continuation:

"I-i really am Nekocchi" the girl stuttered and continued looking away

After a few minutes of silence, she let out a long sigh

"I guess it's pointless to try tricking you...." The brunette trailed off and sat down at the corner

"So, how'd you find out that I wasn't her?" She asked while looking kinda mad at him

"Why're you mad?" Ai asked with a monotonic voice

"Who wouldn't be if their acting skills are being taken too lightly" She started pouting again as she looked away

The ferris wheel ride ended and they got off, meeting up with the others in the central part of the amusement park

"Don't you think that it's about time for you to reveal your identity?" Ai said with a straight face as the others started getting confused

"I'm not Nekocchi. I'm Rinne, sorry for decieving you all." She told them as she looked down

"Eh? Then where's Nekocchi?" The others asked in synch with worried faces on

"She's at the lab." She answered immediately when he they asked

"Lab? Why? What are you planning to do to Nekocchi?" They asked again as their eyebrows began to furrow but Rinne remained silent for a while before deciding to speak

"Sh-she's gonna be used to wake up Kisaragi Aine" She stuttered as she told the truth. Reiji and Ai's eyes widened as they heard that name

"Ai...ne..?" Reiji repeated the mentioned name with a face filled of a mix of disbelief

"Aine will finally wake up" Rinne said with a joyful expression

Reiji flinched once he realized what it means when Aine wakes up, but he wanted to refuse believing in that possibility and chose to ask

"What'll happen to Ai-Ai and Nekocchi?" He asked with a bad feeling

"I'll be replacing Ai-chan while Nekocchi will be replaced by me~ We don't need fake people to continue replacing the original ones~" She told them happily as their faces became filled of rage

"We will never accept you!! Who the heck is Aine anyway?! And don't dare call them 'fake people' " Syo shouted angrily at her

"They haven't told you yet?" She asked as she pointed towards the Quartet Night members

"Told us what?" Masato asked as he and the other Starish members faced Ranmaru and the others

"That I'm an android that was created with the purpose of replacing Kisaragi Aine while he's in a state of coma? There was really no need to tell you though" Ai said with a calm voice with his usual tone

"An...droid?! Then what about Nekocchi?!" Haruka asked with a completely worried look

"She's a human, now let's go and get her, take us to where she is" Ranmaru ordered as he reassured Haruka

"Follow me" They followed Rinne until they reached a mansion and entered the lab inside

They look around and found no one in the lab.

"Where is she?" Masato spoke in a calm tone with a bit of anger in it

"Hmm~ She might be in the music room, let's go" She motioned for them to follow her and as they got closer to the music room, they heard a really sad melody. -play the video-

"This melody......" Natsuki muttered out with sadness as the others started showing signs of sadness

"Nekocchi....." Rinne muttered out with a heart-broken expression

"Rinne-san?" Haruka called out to her out of worry as she saw the expression she had on her face

"Hm? What?" Rinne responded in a rather mean way

"Ah...its nothing...its just that you looked so sad just now, are you alright?" Haruka asked with a frightened tone

"...I'm fine...." Rinne responded with a wobbly tone

"Are you sure...?" Haruka asked and she looked down while keeping silent for a while

"uhhh" She was about to ask again but Rinne suddenly looked up with tears on her eyes and suddenly jumped on Haruka and hugged her

"Of course I'm not!!!! I can't bear seeing my bestfriend suffer even when she told me to act like she was a stranger!!!" She whisper-shouted as she cried

"Eh? You didn't hate her?" Cecil managed to ask while the others were kinda surprised

"Of course not......she's the only person in the world who reached out to me during my darkest times even though she was in hers..." Rinne faced them as tears continued to fall from her eyes

"Please help her escape......from my mom's obsession" She uttered out loud enough for them to hear, they wanted to ask her what her mom was obsessing about, but didn't, since they knew that it would be a bad time to ask her

"We'll save her, so don't worry Rinne-chan" Otoya reassured her and looked at everyone as they agreed.

The music ended and they decided to barge in, seeing a nekocchi looking at them with lifeless eyes containing tears at the corner of both eyes, ready to fall anytime.

".......Enkaterina....." Ai muttered out her real name as her tears fell with a lifeless expression

Sorry for the long wait? -actually finished this draft months ago but wanted to make it a bit longer and ended up giving up cause I realized how boring and normal my plot is and decided to 'try' making it more exciting in the next chapter- lol
