I was woken up by the sound of my phone ringing, I silently prayed it was Ash. I look at the caller ID and it reads 'BESTFRANND'. I pick up the phone with a groggy 'hello'.

"Where are you? It's Saturday, You were supposed to meet me at the mall 15 minutes ago it's 12:15." My eyes widen as I jumped out of Calum's bed and run into the bathroom.

"Okay sorry, I'll be there in 20 minutes meet me in the food court." He hangs up and I brush my hair and put it up into a bun. I use some mouth wash since I don't have a tooth brush, I grab my mascara from my bag and put some on along with some concealer and walk out. I leave my glasses on since I'm just going out with Wes. I put the pants I had yesterday and figure out what else to wear since my shirt is dirty. I shake Calum awake and he jolts up.

"What?! What?" He rubs his eyes and looks at me with his eyes squinted.

"Do you have a shirt I can borrow because I'm in a rush." He points to a drawer and falls back asleep.

I open the drawer full of T-shirts and grab one that says 'NASA' in white letters, I throw on my boots and say bye to Calum. I walk out the door and walk very fast to the mall. It didn't take that long since Cal's house is right by the mall. I enter the mall and go up to the food court, I walk over to a table where I see Wesley. I sit down across from him and he smirks at me.

"So you spent the night at Calum's?" He wiggled his eyebrows.

"Well, yes. My mom had to work and Ash went to a party and he didn't want me to be home alone so I stayed at his house." I explained

"Is that his shirt?!" I rolled my eyes and we walked over to the tux rental place.

We were in there for and hour and a half, finally Wesley found a tux. I was looking around at all the different colors and ties and shoes that you could rent. Then I started to think about homecoming, who would I go with? What would I wear? Am I even going to go? I guess I better not go, I mean it's kind of lame going to a dance without a date.

"Let's go, I'm done here." Wesley said in a frustrated voice.

"What's wrong?" I looked at him with a curious look

"That was way more then I expected it to be, I barely have enough to buy her a corsage." He sighed.

I walk into my house and I hear the sound of guns and yelling coming from up stairs, Ashton must have a friend over. I slowly walk into my room because I know that if his friend found out about me Ashton would hate me even more. I take my shoes off and lay down in bed, I pull out a book and begin to read it until my door opens. I look up and see Calum, I smile and go back to my book. He walks over to my bed and sits on it.

"Hey." He smiles at me

"Hi" I say while reading my book, he frowns.

"Are you mad at me? Did I do something?" He looks hurt.

"No, it's just that, I hate that Ashton hates me. It's not my fault I'm a loser. I just am." I put my book down and sit up cross legged facing Calum.

"You're not a loser, Ashton is just mean," I wish I could believe him but I can't. "You are nice, pretty, smart, funny, and I don't understand why Ashton can't see that." He smiles at me.

We sit there talking for a little while. I guess Ashton went to the store to go get some snacks and left Cal here. We were deep in conversation, talking about ice cream flavors. He just doesn't get it. Birthday cake ice cream is so much better than mint chocolate chip. Mint is gross and those little chocolate pieces always get stuck in your teeth, eww.
