Chapter 6

Okay so I decided to add Luke because I can't just leave out Luke. I know I need to add more girls and I will soon, but for now all I can give you is Liz lolololololol. For this chapter you can listen to whatever you want tbh. That's it so...... here you go.

I went down stairs and saw a random guy sitting on my couch, at first I was scared but then I remembered, my mom's friend was coming over with her son. I walk over to the couch and sit down next to him.

"Uhh, hi." He says with his eyebrows furrowed together.

"Hi, are you Luke?" I give him a smile.

"Yeah, I am."

"Oh! I'm Leannah, but most people know me as Leah." He nods his head and pulls out his phone.

I tried to be nice to him, but he seems uninterested. I wish I was as uninterested in him as he is with me, but I am curious and want to know all about him. I want to know what all his tattoos mean and why he put all those holes in his face, and why he has a constant frown. My thoughts are interrupted by Calum walking through the door, he looks over at Luke, then at me and he tenses up.

"Hi baby." I smile and walk over to Calum, giving him a hug.

"Hey babe." He hugs me back and gives me a soft kiss on the lips.

He looks over to Luke, then down at me. I imagine he's a little upset seeing me with a random guy in my living room.

"Oh, uhm... That's Luke. He's my mom's coworker's son." He gives Luke a friendly nod and we go upstairs.

"I'll tell Ashton you're ready to go to the movies." I start to walk towards the bathroom when Calum grand my hand.

"Would you want to, I don't know, go to homecoming?" He grabs my other hand and he is looking into my eyes with a hopeful glare.

"I mean, I wasn't planning on it, but if you want to go we can." I smile and kiss his cheek. "I'll go get Ash."

Me: Hey uhm... Would you want to maybe go to the mall with me, I need to find a dress.

Mali: Dress? Did Cal finally ask you to homecoming?! Omg yes I'll go shopping. Be there in 10 minutes, be ready.

I put my phone down and go to my closet, grabbing a pair of black skinny jeans and a white sweater which I've had for years and is pretty ripped up by now. Then I head to the bathroom, brush my teeth, put my hair in 2 French braids, and put my contacts in. I grab my bag from my room and put on a pair of vans. Walking down stairs I check my phone, she should be here in 2 minutes.

"I'm leaving so, you'll have the house pretty much to yourself." I tell Luke.

"Where are you going?" He looks up and his eyes get wide but he quickly recovers. "I like your... Uhm... Outfit." He looks back at his phone.

"Thank you, I'm going to the mall. I have to find a dress for homecoming, I'm sure you don't want to go," Mali's car pulls up outside and I walk towards the door. "Bye."

"Well actually, I work at hot topic so... Can you give me a ride, it's easier than walking." He scratches the back of his neck, I nod and we walk out the door.

"Hey Mali, Luke is riding to the mall with us because he works at hot topic and needed a ride." He gives her a small smile and she nods.

The drive is fast and quiet. We park fairly close to the entrance and walk inside. We walk over to the dress store and Luke is still with us. I wonder when his shift starts, but I won't say anything. I take it upon myself to browse through the dresses, then Luke holds one up.

"This one looks nice." He was right, it was beautiful. It was black, not very special, it fell all the way to the floor, and it had a sweet, yet subtle white pattern one the upper half.

"It's beautiful." He smiled a little and hands it to me.

I go into the dressing rooms to try it on and it fits wonderfully. I go out to show Luk e and Mali, but when I pull back the curtain only Mali is there. She tells me his shift was starting and he had to go. Even though I barely know him, I was a little sad he had left. I pay for the dress and Mali and I head to the food court, just as we are about to sit down Calum calls.

"Hi baby." He says into the phone.

"Hi," I wonder if he is still here, I mean the movies are just across the street. "Are you still at the movies? I mean you guys just got there an hour ago."

"We didn't go to the movies, actually I'm at hot topic, I needed some new flannels and shirts. I think that Luke kid works here."

"Yeah he does, we have him a ride because he would've been late if he were to walk." I mention and the line goes quiet, except for the music playing in the background.

"Hey, Leah I have to go. Bye."

"Love you, bye."

Mali and I eat our food and walk around the mall for a little while more. We walk past hot topic, I decide to go in. I walk in and instantly loud music is playing, its slightly annoying, but I like it. I walk around until someone comes up behind me.

"Excuse me ma'am the book store is across the mall." I turn around and see Luke standing there with a little smirk.

"Ha ha very funny, I'm actually here to buy Calum some shirts. I mean Christmas is coming and I need to get him some gifts... And Ashton. Oh! Michael too. Ugh!" He chuckles and then someone calls his name, so he walks away.

I start to browse through all the band shirts and decide on getting Calum a new Bad Religion shirt because he seems to like the band. I grab Ashton a maroon floppy fedora and a Green Day shirt. When I get over to the flannels I start to think of Michael, he seems to wear flannels a lot. I grab him two flannels and some bracelets, I grab Calum some bracelets as well. I walk over to the register and Luke is there.

"Did you find everything okay?" He looks over to his boss and she raises an eyebrow at him.

I roll my eyes. "Yes I found everything fine, thank you." I pay him and I have about 5 dollars in change.

"Keep it, I have enough." I smile and wave, walking out of the store.
