For some reason my heart was racing at the speed of light. I keep running until Matix pulled my hand to stopping me in my tracks. I jerked around coming face to face with Logan leaning over Matix on the ground.

“I told you to never touch her!”

Logan looked like he was unfazed. His whole body was calm along with his face, but in his voice. His tone was warning and threatening.

“What?!? Someone had to stop her! What was she going to do just keep running?”

Logan glared at him as Riley and Joanna came to my side holding on my arms in alarm.

“I Don't care if she ran for the rest of her life. I repeat! Don't. You. Touch. Her!”

Riley and Joanna's grip tightened around my arm. The look Logan was giving Matix could have killed him. My body even filled with tension. Matix stood glaring back but more like a stubborn kid who was told he was wrong.

“NELL, RILEY, JOANNA!!!!!”

Our heads shot in the direction we had came from. Mom, Dad , and a group of random people were running at us. It was hard to see how many there were they were all waring black and were caring something like.

A gasp left my lips.

Guns?

In a flash Logan pulled me away from my long life best friends holding me behind him. Matix did the same with them. What was with them they where not going to hurt us?

Logan's hair hung slightly in his face and maybe it was just me or was his eyes redder than earlier?

Mom, Dad and the others stopped a little in front of us. Everyone spread out aiming there guns at us as Mom and Dad just looked horrified.

“Stay behind us!” Was Logan said keeping his eyes on the unnumbered crowd.

“RILEY, JOANNA, NELL, GET AWAY FROM THEM!!!”

We were just dumfounded. Them? Logan and Matix? I looked over at Riley and Joanna who were going the same to me. What on earth was going on? Mom had tears falling down her face and dad held her close for comfort. I thought there were bad guys out there and weren’t they to go after them? Why were they worried over the fact we were with two guys?

Ice ran over my body. Dad said there were two bad guys out there when we are on the pear and now they were hear with guns and tears. I looked up at Matix then back at Logan. Two! They were with us the whole time.

I was trembling. Were we in trouble? Logan? No!

Could it be though?

“GIRL'S GET OVER HERE!! HURRY!!” On of the men in black coughed at us.

Riley and Joanna with out hesitation ran to my mothers side, but my legs did not move.

“NELL COME TO ME AND YOUR FATHUER!” My mother cried out to me.

Both Logan and Matix Gasped out the word Father followed by a call from my Father. “COME ON BABY GIRL!! WE WILL MAKE SURE THEY NEVER HURT YOU AGIAN!”

I ran around Logan to my parents. My running feet came to a halt, making sand fly in the air. I was directly on the border line that separated my parents and my new found friends.

It was happening again, just like on the cliff. I wonted to run, but my body would not lesson. Even if I could run, were would I run to? I felt like I was being pulled like a silly game of tug of war.

But in the back of my mind I had no idea who would win.

I just stood there. The loud crash of waves hitting the sand jerking my from this mental game I was forst to play. The sky was clear not two seconds before, but now it looked angry and terrifying. It cut the sand like a blade to skin. I turned facing the dangerous sea as it started to rain. I chill ran throughout my spine. I had only two chooses.
