Chapter 8

After spending hours painting different rooms in Ymir's house, Armin invited Eren to come round and stay for the night to try to lighten the whole situation and make everything go back to normal.

"Do you still have any of my clothes at yours?" Eren asks as they arrive at Armin's house.

"I have a couple of your t-shirts but no pants." Armin replies unlocking the door and letting them in.

"Then I'll have to borrow some of yours then." Eren winks as he shuts the door.

"Fuck off."

"You love me."

"Now shut up my grandpa is in bed." Armin says dragging Eren up the stairs.

They get to Armin's room and before Armin can do anything else Eren tackles him into the bed pulling him into a hug.

"Wow, I've missed you so much."

"I've missed being your friend Eren." Armin giggles, he felt as though he couldn't be any happier.

Eren was looking straight into Armin's eyes. Eren's eyes were so beautiful, emerald green with swirls of gold and amber floating around the iris.

Armin felt as this was a moment, that moment where you kiss your friend and you realise that you have been in love with them your whole life.

Armin leans up but before anything can happen Eren jumps off of him.

Eren didn't notice that his friend was about to make a move, so he told Armin some very, 'good' news.

"Armin guess what!"

Armin sighs his friend was so oblivious, "What Eren."

"I'm dating Levi! It was all thanks to you being my fake boyfriend and all."

Ouch, Armin feels his heart sink, "T-That's great Eren I'm glad I could help."

"It means a lot to me Armin."

"No problem, I'm happy for you." Armin's eyes went dull.

Eren yawned, "Can we get ready for bed an watch a movie or something? I mean I wanna get some beauty sleep for when I see Levi tomorrow."

"You're going on a date?"

"No- Well yeah I guess, we are all going to the movies remember. Me, you, Levi, Marco, Jean and Ymir and Krista."

Great, Armin thinks, I'm 7th wheeling, is that even a thing!?

"I don't think I'm going to go, I'm just gonna be in the way of all the couples-" Armin gets cut short as his phone vibrates signalling a message.

He looks at his phone and reads the text, it's from Ymir.

ymir♡: ur sister has a job interview tomorrow are you still coming?

Perfect timing Ymir.

"Looks like I am going, Ymir wants me to go with her." Armin says to Eren referring to the message.

"That's good then, I'm looking forward to seeing the movie." Eren smiles leaning back on Armin's bed placing his arms behind his head.

Well... Tomorrow is going to be interesting.

Armin was sat in between Ymir and Jean. Jean was too busy flirting and giggling with Marco to notice that Eren an Levi had already arrived. So that meant there wouldn't be any arguments. For now at least.

Eren and Levi were sitting in the row in front of the others so that meant Armin was forced to look at the lovebirds in complete agony. It hurts to see the person you like being in love with someone else. As much as Armin was happy for Eren he still felt complete and utter sadness.

Armin tried to look away but his phone was dead and Ymir was on hers and Jean and Marco were making out. And the adverts hadn't started yet either.

Therefore resulting in Armin watching his crush make out with someone who didn't like him very much.

Eren pulled away and tried to place his arms around Levi but he pushed it away muttering something about ironing his shirt. Eren looked super hurt but he just played it off with a laugh and took a bite of popcorn.

Eren then kissed Levi's cheek leaving some crumbs behind. Levi was not happy.

"Eren! You got crumbs on my shirt." Levi groaned.

"But you can brush them off see," Eren says trying to knock the crumbs off but resulting in him getting annoyed.

"I don't need your help." Eren sunk into his seat, man that must've stung. There seemed to be a pattern happening.

Armin didn't see why Levi didn't want Eren to be affectionate, did Levi not like being seen with him or something?

Armin shook this thought out of his head as the adverts had started.

The movie was actually really good much to Armin's surprise as he usually got bored at horror films.

Ymir was cuddling into him throughout the whole thing as she really was a wimp when it came to films with a lot of jumpscares.

Armin couldn't help but feel bad for Eren as he got bumped off by Levi. Whenever a scary part came on Eren would turn to Levi for support and comfort but ended up using his own arm in the end as Levi wasn't into the affection. At all.

Ymir dropped Armin off at his house but before Armin got out he told Ymir everything.

"Ymir I think I like Eren." Armin says barely above a whisper.

"Armin... We all know."

"You could be the least bit supportive." Armin let out a giggle nudging Ymir in the hip.

"I mean I could get you two together, before school starts up again." Ymir offered but Armin shook his hands and head.

"Eren is so happy to finally be in a relationship with Levi... I don't want to be the reason why they split up."

"Eren didn't look very happy with Levi a couple of hours ago." Ymir said and Armin nodded his head feeling defeat.

"I didn't like seeing him get rejected by his boyfriend, like how does that work."

"I don't know honey but what I do know is that I wanna stay over so I can start in my plan and boy is it a good one..."
