"... And that's how Eren wakes the fuck up and realises that he's been in love with you this entire time." Ymir smirks leaning back in her seat.

"This isn't going to work..." Armin sighs looking out of the window at his house.

"Well I mean, your grandpa, Krista and all our friends are all in on this so no one is gonna slip you up."

"Hmm, fine."

"Yes! Trust me you'll be thanking me later, see you tomorrow blondie." Ymir smiles giving Armin an awkward hug before he got out of the car and walked to his house, giving a small wave to Ymir before entering his house.

He trudged up the stairs and crashed on his bed letting the thoughts swim around his head.

The next day was sure to be eventful.

It was weird having Eren knock for him in the morning again considering they didn't talk for a couple months so Armin was used to walking on his own.

"Hey." Eren smiles, "You look really cute today. I like your jumper, it matches your... Braces." Eren blushes waving a hand at Armin's blue jumper and the row of blue braces running across his teeth.

Armin stares at Eren raising one eyebrow, blushing a little at Eren's attempt at a compliment, "Should I take that as a compliment?"

"Yep."

Armin shakes his was laughing as he shouts a goodbye to his grandpa before leaving with Eren.

"You okay? You look a little off." Eren asks his blonde friend as they turn a corner.

"Hmm? Do I?" Armin hums as they approach their school.

The school that they attended was only a five minute walk away from Armin's home.

Krista usually met up with some of her other friends and walked the long way, so usually Armin would walk with Eren later.

They reach the school and Armin smiles as he spots Ymir standing at the lockers.

"Ymir!" Armin smiles hugging his tall friend before realising that Eren was with him this time.

Ymir spots Eren and scoffs, Eren and Ymir have always had a bad relationship.

"Eren."

"Ymir." Eren returns the dull tone of voice Ymir used.

"Alright!" Armin raises his voice clapping his hands, "Ymir lets get to class and leave Eren alone today. Maybe?" Armin giggles nervously trying to break the heavy atmosphere between the two.

"I'll see you later Ar." Eren smiles nudging Armin. "See ya Ymir."

Once Eren was out of sight Ymir turns to Armin, "Armin he's so in love with you its not even funny anymore. It's paining me how you are not together by now." Ymir sighs exaggerating her voice.
