10 years had passed an Eren and Armin were as strong as ever. Armin was still a trainee doctor and Eren was an archeologist.
They had a house together and were engaged. They still kept in close contact with immediate friends. Ymir and Armin were still extremely close and her and Krista were married with a baby.
The couple lay in bed together, legs intertwined and the soft hum of the tv filled the air.
"Y'know, maybe that whole fake boyfriend thing wasn't too bad."
Eren laughed lightly, "I'm glad I asked you to do it. I love you Armin, don't forget that."
And that's exactly why Armin thanked Eren and the roller coaster that was the fake boyfriend experience.
