Carrying a girl was weird enough, but carrying am unconscious girl who a almost killed us? Well, let's just say it was a "new" experience
I couldn't run super fast since i might give her whiplash
So, i had to carry her all the way back to HQ
"Set her there." Cap said, pointing to the chair behind a desk in one of our interrogation rooms
I set her down and Tony tied her hands together with handcuffs
"Lets see who she really is." Tony said, reaching to take her mask
I stopped him by grabbing his wrist "You sure about this?"
He nodded "Look, if we want to really know her, then we need to know her identity. Who knows what we're up against."
"For all we know, she can make an atomic explosion." Wanda added
"Look, we don't want to kill her-" at "kill her" the Shadow's eyes shot open
She stood up and slammed her chair to the nearest person to her. Unfortunately, it was Stark and he had no iron suit. It broke upon impact and Tony collapsed on the floor
Steve got his shield ready and Wanda got ready too
"Hey!" I yelled "Everyone just chill out for a sec."
She faced me, a wild look in her eyes "What the hell?"
I scowled "You do that and your asking me?"
"You were going to kill me!" She said "You even shut my powers off!"
I held up my hands "Look, shutting down your powers was just a safety measure. Also, sorry about that."
She seemed to relax a bit, she lowered her cuffed hands
"Also," i continued "how do you do all that when you just woke up?"
"Really, Piettro?" Wanda asked me "You want to ask her this now?"
I shrugged innocently
"Fine." The Shadow said "I'll humor you. I can do all that since i sleep lightly. Yes, i don't get as much sleep as i need to, but its a handy trick."
"Okay." I said "Thanks for the answer. Also, did you have to knock Tony out?"
She shrugged "He was the closest one. Also, he did it first."
"Anymore questions?" Steve asked me
I shook my head "Nope."
"Okay." Steve said "Now, Shadow, if you can just calm down-"
"Calm down?" Shadow asked and laughed bitterly "You kidnap me and tell me to calm down?"
"Look," Steve said "That was a complete misunderstanding. We weren't trying to kidnap you, we just wanted to talk. And you didn't, so . . ."
"Point taken." The Shadow said "But i don't talk with all three of you. Only him," she nodded in my direction
I was shocked and so were the others. Well, except for Tony, who was still unconscious
"Why?" Steve asked
She shrugged "I don't know. For some reason . . . i trust him. Also, he's funny."
Wanda shrugged "Alright then." She walked towards the door "Come on, Steve. And also, could you drag Tony, please?"
Wanda gave me a supporting glance and walked out. Steve walked out, dragging the unconscious Stark out with him
"So," i said "you want another chair? You kinda broke yours."

I got my new chair, which was steel this time, and so did Quicksilver
I don't know why i trusted him, but it just felt right. Also, Quicksilver seemed . . . familiar
"So," he said "what now?"
I shrugged as much as i can with handcuffs "Well, maybe you can take off my handcuffs."
He frowned "How do i know you won't kill me?"
"Well, my powers are still shut off." I said "So even if i wanted to, which i don't, i couldn't kill you. Well, with my powers at least."
He shrugged "Good enough."
He walked over and undid my handcuffs
I smiled and rubbed my wrists "That's much better."
"Yeah, well, i just hope you don't kill me." He said
I laughed bitterly "Don't worry. Whatever you think i am, Quicksilver, I'm not a killing monster."
"Of course your not." He said "Now, about hour powers, how did you get them."
I shrugged "I was born with them."
"So, your a mutant?"
I nodded "Yeah."
"Your like me and Wanda then." He said "Your lucky you have a family."
I lowered my head "I don't have a family. They're dead."
Quicksilver lowered his head "Oh, I'm sorry. I didn't know."
I sighed "Its fine. Not your fault anyway."
"I'm still sorry." He said "But how did you survive on your own? Its dangerous for a mutant, even with your powers."
I fingered the amulet on my neck nervously "Um . . . I'm not sure i can tell you."
"I understand." He said "But you can trust me. Look, i understand you had a hard life, but you have to trust some one. And i know i just met you, but i assure you, you can trust me."
I had no idea why that convinced me. Something about him was . . . familiar. Like i didn't just meet him now
"Fine." I said "But to make me trust you, you have to tell me your name. Your real name."
He thought about it "Fine. But you tell me yours too."
I hesitated but agreed "Fine. Who goes first?"
He smirked "Rock paper scissors?"
I grinned "Fine."
We played rock paper scissors, which was kinda childish, but we did it anyway
I did rock, he did paper
I lost, which meant i said it first
I scowled "Fine. Me first."
Reluctantly, i took my mask off, revealing my face
For some reason, Quicksilver gasped and looked at me funny. Shocked even
I took a deep breath and said:
"My real name is Scarlett." I said "My name is Scarlett Ruewen."
