Over the time, Lynn and i became good friends
She really understood what it ment to be a mutant

Anyway, we hanged out sometime, talk, and other stuff that friends do
She knew my secret identity, and i trusted her with it

I just sat on the bed of my room in the Avenger's new headquarters
Then, my boyfriend, Steve Rogers, came in through my door
He smiled "Hey, Lynn. Fury's calling a meeting downstairs. You better come. He called for you."
I frowned. What does Fury want?
"Alright," i said, putting my jacket on "let's go."
We left and walked to the meeting room
Then, Pietro zoomed in front of us before we could open the door
"Pietro!" I protested. He was so annoying sometimes
He just smirked "What? You didn't see that coming?" He said with his sococovian accent
I rolled my eyes "Whatever, Pietro."
Then, along with Wanda, we went in
Fury was there. Along with Stark, Natasha, And Clint
"Good. Your here." Fury said
"What the hell took you so long?" Stark said, sounding bored "Eye patch over here wont stop complaining."
"Shut it, Stark." Fury said, as we sat down
"Anyway," I said before this could turn into another war "what did you call us for, Fury?"
"This," Fury said, making a powerpoint show on the screen
I almost panicked when i saw who it was a picture of
It was a picture of The Shadow. Or more importantly, Scarlett

When i saw the picture, the firet thing that came into my mind was
Why does Fury stalk a girl?
"Whats with the girl in the black outfit?" I asked
"This," Fury said "is the Shadow. The so called heroine of Manhattan."
"Sounds familiar." I admitted
"So, what is she?" Tony asked
Fury shrugged "Nobody knows what she is. Our best bet is she's a mutant. Here's all we know about the Shadow."
He passed us all a file
I groaned. Ugh, paperwork
Reluctantly, I opened the file and started reading
Subject File: The Shadow
Gender: Female
Mostly seen: Manhattan
True Identity: Unknown
"Wait." Tony said "So, you mean to say you have no idea who she really is?"
Fury nodded
"Wow." Tony said with a smug grin "Thats a first."
Fury glared at him "Just read, Stark."
Known powers: Shadow Travel, Elemental Powers, Telepathic
Known alliances: Unknown
Steve whistled "She seems powerful."
"And dangerous." Natasha added
"Is that it?" Wanda asked "Thats all you know?"
Fury nodded
"Why are you showing this to us?" I asked
"Because," Fury said "I want you to recruit the Shadow for the Avengers."

"You have got to be kidding me." Wanda said. "That is insane!"
And i had to agree with her
"Why?" I asked
"Because," Fury said "The Shadow has rejected SHIELD everytime we tried to recruit her."
"I wonder why." I muttered
"So i was hoping she would answer to the Avengers." Fury finished
"Why would she do that?" Steve asked
"Um . . . I dont know. Maybe because your the freaking Avengers?" Fury said
"Touchè." Tony said "Fine. We'll go and get this chick. I'll take Peittro, Wanda, Steve and Natasha. Also Lynn. We'll need a good pilot."
Lynn looked a bit shocked and pale but she nodded "Alright."
Tong stood up "Well, Avengers? Lets go and ubduct some chick with powers that could possibly kill us all."
I stood up "Great pep talk, Stark. Lets go."
