So, i just found out that my best friend Piettro was the Quicksilver and that the Asgardian, Loki, broke out of his prison
Hooray
After Lynn, who i have just recently learned was an agent of SHIELD working with the Avengers, told me and Piettro the news, we bolted out of the room
We ran towards the living room where Tony Stark, Captain America, Hawkeye, Black Widow, The Vision, Wanda Maximoff, and Thor was standing in front of a projected screen of a live video call of Loki himself
"What is she doing here?" Stark asked when he saw me "And why is she un cuffed?"
Piettro sighed "Long story short, meet Scarlett Ruewen. Old friends from Xavier's, etcetera, etcetera."
I glared at him "Thanks for telling everyone my real name, Piettro." Then i faced Wanda "Oh, hi by the way, Wanda."
Wanda frowned "Scarlett? As in, Scarlett Ruewen?"
I nodded "Yup. Hi, Wanda."
"I did not know we had a guest." The Vision said
"Well, they didn't exactly ask nicely." I told him
"Kidnap?" The Vision asked
I nodded "Yup."
"Why is the Shadow in our place?" Black Widow asked
"Our fault." Tony said "We kidnapped her."
"Who is this?" Thor asked
I rolled my eyes "Do we really have to go over this again?"
"Enough!" Loki said through the video call "You can all bicker after!"
"What do you want, Loki?" Hawkeye asked
"Simple." Loki said "I want you to surrender."
"Why would we do that?" Captain America said
"Because," Loki said "If you don't, i will come for all of you, and Midguard."
"That's not really convincing, considering we're the one's who stopped you in the first place." Stark said
"But this will be different." Loki assured us "Because now, i have new allies. Meet the Romulans."
The screen showed disturbing pictures of aliens in steel armor, and heavily armed with weapons
"If you do not surrender, the Romulans and i will come for Midguard. And for the Avengers." Loki said
"Why attack Midguard again?" Thor asked
"Because." Loki said "I have just discovered a new portal instead of Bifrost that can lead me to all the nine realms." He pointed to me
Everyone frowned and looked at me
I pointed to myself "Me?"
Loki nodded "Yes, Shadow. You. Your unique power in portals can enable me to all of the nine realms!"
I frowned "No i can't."
"Of course, not on your own." Loki said "But with greater influence, you are the key back to the other eight realms and the key to destroying Asgard!" He faced me "Join me and i may spare you the pain of being tortured for the power."
Everyone's eyes were on me now and it was bloody disturbing
"Not a chance, Loki." I said "Your not getting my power, or Manhattan. If you want to mess with Midguard, you'll have to go through me."
"And the Avengers." Rogers added
"Have it your way then." Loki said "Prepare for the Romulans."
Then, the video screen went black
"Well," I said "Now what?"
Steve frowned "What do you mean?"
"Well," i said "An evil asgardian just proclaimed war on us. I'm definitely no Avenger, but nobody attacks my place and gets away with it. So," i spread my arms "whats the plan?"
"The plan is." Someone said from behind me. I turned and saw one eyed Fury standing behind us with two soldiers flanked beside him "We lock you up and give you up to Loki as a peace tribute."
