I took a walk around the Avengers Tower
The most common thing i found here? Scotch
A lot and a lot of scotch. Mostly empty bottles
Also, there were no people except the Avengers, some SHIELD agents, and a bunch of different rooms that were either labs, bedrooms, closets, or something
Anyway, we got a message from Fury saying Loki's been spotted in Australia and he's been recruiting. He might've lost his staff before, but he's got a new one
"He's taken over our base in Sydney, Australia." Fury said "He turned all our agents into his own pawns."
"SHIELD has a base in Australia?" Pietro asked
"Focus, Pietro." Wanda said
"Oh, right. Sorry."
"Anyway," Fury said, continuing "Take a jet to Sydney and get this over with before it starts another Manhattan war."
Steve nodded "We'll take a jet to Sydney now."
"Good. And you," Fury faced me "I'm keeping my eye on you."
"It is the only one you have." I told him
Then, he did the weirdest thing ever
Fury smirked at me "You got spunk, Ruewen. I respect that. Just don't push it."
I smirked and gave him a mocking salute "Sir, yes, sir."
"Scarlett!" Wanda called by the doorway "You coming?"
Then, i followed the Avengers out the door and towards the jet

We took a black jet to Sydney
"So," i said "what's the plan?"
"Fury said that Loki was spotted at a museum looking at some different sort of things related to mythology."
"Typical." Pietro muttered
"What sort of things?" Natasha asked
"Crystals, gems, artifacts, stuff like that." Tony answered "All related to portals."
"So," Thor said "Loki is trying to go back to the nine realms. But gems and artifacts are only a part of traveling into the nine realms."
"The more reason why they need me." I said, making everyone look at me "Look, my shadow traveling is like opening portals to one place to another. If you want to travel from Manhattan to New Jersey, it would be quick and wont take up much of my energy. But traveling into another realm? The exhaustion and effort might kill me."
"That's why we can't let Loki get you." Pietro said, glancing at me "And also he might kill you. Maybe you shouldn't be here, Scar."
I hate it whenever people try to protect me. I can handle myself
"Look," I said "Just because some evil Asgardian with a pointy helmet is threatening me with killing me, that is not going to change my mind. I am going to fight Loki."
Tony smirked "Alright then. Lets go and find Loki."

We got off the jet and landed in front of the museum
Lynn was piloting the plane and stood by
"So," i said, putting on my black gloves as we appeared in front of the museum "What's the plan?"
Pietro grinned sheepishly "What do you mean 'plan' "
"In other words we just make one up while we go along." Wanda said
"And try not to get ourselves killed." Clint said, glancing at Pietro
I smirked "So, no plan what so ever? Awesome. Let's do this."
We walked into the museum which was already closed since it was already 10:57 in the evening
We saw a night guard unconscious by the entrance to the museum
"Knocked out." Natasha said, taking an extra gun bullet case from the unconscious guard
"He won't be needing this." Nat said, smirking
"My guess is Loki is in there." Steve said, pointing to the inside of the museum
The gate to the museum looked like it was forced open
"Great work, Sherlock." Pietro muttered
""Well?" Tony asked in his Iron Man suit "Let's go pay the trickster a visit."
We walked in the museum heading towards the mythology section of the museum where all the artifacts and stuff were kept
Then, we saw Loki standing in the entrance to the mythology part of the museum. A rainbow colored gemstone in his hand and his scepter in another
"Well, well," Loki said as he tossed the stone in his hand "If it isn't the Avengers and the Shadow. Come to surrender i hope?"
"Sorry to rain on your parade, Loki." Tony said, raising one of his blaster hands "But we're not here to surrender. We're here to kick your sorry-"
"Tony." Wanda warned
"Well then." Loki said "If it's a fight you want, then it's a fight you will get."
He snapped his fingers and about a swarm of fully armed SHIELD agents came in. Their eyes were unusually blue. Not like mine, more of a cold blue
"Try not to hurt them!" Steve said "They're under Loki's control!"
Then, the agents started firing and we had to take cover
I looked at Loki's direction and saw him disappearing into the back entrance
"Loki's getting away!" I said, over the gun fire as i shoot gusts of wind at the agents "I need to get him!"
"Fine." Steve said as he threw his shield and hit three agents, knocking them out "Pietro! Go with her! I'll stay and help the others."
Pietro appeared next to me, his silver hair more messy than usual, and a grin on his face
He picked me up 'bridal style' still smirking
"Hold on." He said and i wrapped my arms around his neck
Then, faster than i can blink, we appeared in the back of the museum with Loki just about to board a SHIELD jeep
When Pietro let me down, i felt dizzy a bit
"Why is the world spinning?" I asked as my eyes were crossed in a bliss
"Don't worry." Pietro told me. "It'll pass."
"Now," i managed to turn to Loki "Let go of the stone, Loki."
"Why do you want that gemstone anyway?" Pietro asked
"This, is the one of the mythic Stones of Asgard." Loki explained "This stone has abilities that none of you Midguardians could even handle. It is the key for opening the portal for the Romulans to invade Midguard."
I glanced at Pietro who nodded
I froze the ground and Pietro slid on the ice super fast and took out the three guards who were with Loki
I blew a gust of wind at Loki, but he just put out his scepter and it absorbed the gust. Loki tried to blast me with a blue power orb from his scepter, but it missed me and i took the opportunity and stomped my foot. The ground beneath Loki suddenly bounced up, sending Loki up into the right sky
"Should we do something?" I asked as Loki started to fall back down
"Wait for it-" Pietro said
Then, Vision appeared and caught the unconscious Loki by the foot and landed in front of us
"Good work, Vision." I told him
"Should i change the position i am holding him?" He asked, still holding Loki by the foot upside down
"Nah." Pietro said, smirking "That's perfect."
"We better alert the others that Loki has been captured." Vision said
"Okay." I said "Lets go and tell them."
