5.Sickening

I didn't see Jake the whole day , and it really worried me , I couldn't concentrate in any one of my classes.  He said he would be late but he didn't say he would miss the whole day.

I began walking to walk towards Jake's house , well I should say our house because now I live in it , I entered my lovely new home , and dropped my bag as soon as I sat down on the couch. 

Jake appears from the bathroom , which scares me . 

"Where the hell  where you today , why did you skip ?" I ask him eyeing him intently

" After you left  , I was about to leave , but then ... your da-" 

"MY DAD! What about him , did he hurt you , what did he want ?" I cut him off,confused, my dad why,what does he want ? He doesn't even want me alive. How did he know where I lived?

He sighed, "he asked me if he knew where you were, then I asked why, he told me because he wanted to talk to you , and I told him that you were safe and sound and made your own decisions, and then he left screaming and yelling " 

"Maybe I should go and see what it is , maybe something happened or someone died" I tell Jake.

"NO, you are not going anywhere near that house ,you can give him a call , it will be safer " he assures 

I nod  and pull out my phone , dialled the house number and it rang, he picked up.

"L-lisa?" 

"yeah" I whisper

"Lisa , my girl , where are you ?"

"I'm fine and safe, what do you want ?" I answer bluntly.

" Come back hom-"

"No, I am happy and safe , and well protected , I will not live in a home where I get abused, Never talk to me again , never look at me again , don't even think about getting closer to me , cause trust me I will call the cops on you if you lay a finger on me , you shit." I cut him off , which does make me happy standing up for myself.

I end the call  and face Jake.

He looks at me as I tear up, he grabs me by the waist and hugs me , then picks me up and places me on the couch , me next to him , still holding him, he kissed my head and made me feel safe.

"You did what you had to , he will never , ever lay a single finger on you  again and if he ever does , you tell me as soon as possible and I'll show him how he made you feel, I promise, I will protect you ." He hold me closer and my feet are on top of his , then I close my eyes and fade to the darkness.
