Not good enough

16.First day, perfect.

*Flashback*

She .. uh ... she...

"Jessica was checking out Christian, and then said he could do better than me . Then she saw you an said that Jake just wants you to get into your pants and um.. then she said he guy friends are planning to rape you." Jem looks down at her lap and a tear rolls down her cheek.

I stare blankly into space.

No way can Jake just want me to get into my pants , I mean come on she can come up with a better lie than that . But who wanted to rape me , that is freaking me out but Jake would protect me , right ?

She opened her door and walked into the house , I followed minutes later after my trail of thoughts.

"Jem don't worry okay , they won't touch me and Christian can't do better than you, they are just jealous."

She looks down and then back at me slowly nodding.

"Okay " she smiles.

She shoudnlt be worried , I'm sure nothing will happen and besides I'm seriously not afraid of Jessica and her blonde bitches.

I walked to the store room and got some cleaning supplies and we spent the rest of the few hours cleaning and we had a ton of fun.

*2hours later *

We finished the last room of cleaning which was my room , we packed the closet and put back the cleaning supplies .

I look at my watch and it read 1:30 pm meaning my shift starts in 30 minutes and its a 10 minute drive from here to there.

"Jem , I need to go to work today and in 20 minutes, so I'll make you a quick snack and then we can head off, Okay? " I sit next to Jem on the couch .

"Yeah sure , I can come with you, cause' I need to pick something up from the cafe" She replies with a nod and then looks back at the television , which was giving a fashion show.

I got up and walked to the kitchen and got all the ingrediants to make the simpliest sandwhich.

I placed the finished sandwhiches onto the counter .

"Come eaat" then walked to the main bedroom and got dressed into Jeans and a short sleeve top.

I walk back out and find all the sandwhiches all gone , I chuckle and so does Jemmah.

"Let's go , I now have 15 minutes and I want to be a bit earlier ." I drag Jemmah and we head out.

The road was extremely quiet , no one outside and no kids plaing in their yards.

The ride to the cafe was quiet , and when we got there , it was bit crowded and yet it also looked empty .

I walked into the cafe , and then greeted my Mom and Carl, and then began to work .

*4:00pm*

It was lunch break and I had 30 minutes to relax from working . I pulled out my phone from my apron and saw that I had 3 missed calls from Jake and 1 form unknown number.

I call Jake first and in the first ring he answered.

"Jakey , did you call?" I whisper to the phone.

"Lisa are you okay ? Why didn't you pick up the phone?"

"Jake , I was working you know that , but anyway why whats wrong."

"Lisa can you come home , it's kind of urgent"

"Why , what happened?"

"Just please?"
