Not good enough

3. Left behind

As soon as we came back from the mall, Jake and I had to sneak into my house , my dad must have been in his room , so we had to take everything that belonged to me with , and once the packing was finished we headed out back to Jake's .

I'm happy I moved out , and that I'll be spending the rest of my time , happy and able to move without worrying if I will get caught or not .

We talked a lot more than I expected, we talked for hours after the dinner and came here 

"Where will  I be sleeping?" I ask Jake as we enter his house with the last box.

"How about you sleep with me ?" he smirked  , and it took me by suprise .

"Uhh Yeah no , I will sleep on the couch, once I am finished packing" I assure him.

Once I finished unpacking , I got really tired . It was only 10pm, I was getting hungry from all the work , and we didn't eat for 3 hours . I walked up to Jake, curious about food.

"Jaaake, where is the food?" I basicly begged for the food infront of him.

"There is some chips and chocolate in the cupboard on your left ." he chuckled, I noticed he was signing papers and it got my attention fast.

I grabbed my chips and chocolate, "What are those papers for?"I asked leaning against the kitchen counter.

He looked up at me, " These are for the high school , like you know contracts and that , and this is for the bills for electricity and this long one right here..." he chuckles and adds " this, this one is for my jobs."

"Jobs? Like as in many jobs?" he nods , " why do you have more than one job?"

"To pay the bills" he looks serious , his expression changed from young teen boy to mature adult and it was facinating.

"See one crappy job is not gonna pay my bills , so I have part time jobs around." he adds.

"Maybe , how about I get a job too , then we will get enough money to pay our bills together .

He looked up at me with disbelief, then he smiles getting up to hug me, which is odd because I never got this much affection.

He grabs me and picks me up spinning me around, "Oh- oh, my- oh , Lisa , will you do that , oh my word , are you being serious, that will help us both so much !" he chuckles and laughs and keeps on hugging, I laugh , I didn't think he could get any happier.

"yes , I can get a job or two to help out. What's the big deal?" he puts me down but not letting go of me .

" I have been stuggling with the money , and mom wasn't really getting enough for the both us , and now you can help ! I'm so happy!!" he nuzzles his head into my neck.

"Thank you so much , Lisa " he adds.

"Don't worry , I'll do anything , for us." I assured him.

He was tall enough for me to hear his heartbeat . The perfect height. He let go of me , and went back to the papers signing them happily.

I decided to watch some TV, then Jake comes to join me. He sits right beside me and I can tell he wants to confess something.

"Lisa , I know we only spent one day together and now you moved into my house , but I feel so much closer to you ,   and yes we can spend such  a long time seeing each other and now I'm so happy that it ended like this . " he confesses.

" aww Jakey , I'm also happy that it ended like this , and I'm happy you came to the neighbour hood, I honestly didn't understand how to escape my father , then you opened a door to a new chapter in my life-" I was cut off .

I closed my eyes and there was a warm feeling on my lips that made me feel like I was flying. I opened my eyes and realised that Jake had kissed me . I did not pull back and I didn't want to .

Once we pulled back for some air , Jake lied down on the couch and pulled me to his chest and I dozed to sleep.

I hope that kiss means what I think it means . 

Does he like me ? What no! We just met , it's probably his boy habits, kissing  a girl , but here I am with his hands on my back pulling me closer to him .
