14. Mental Plan

Saturday 9pm

I wake up to the sound of Jake's groan . I turn to climb on him , I'm laying on him with my head on his chest .

"Hmm" He hums.

" Morning Jakey, you betta wakey."

He chuckles, while I climb off of him.

"No , don't get off , I liked that" he whispers

" I need to go ,I have a lot to do today." I whisper to him , combing my hands through his lush hair.

" And I need you here." He takes my wrists and kisses them.

" I have to go to school, and I need to get papers that Principle Chanter called me for , then I need to go buy food for us tonight, then I need to do the laundry and clean the house ." I lay next to him

" I'll get the food now , then I 'll head off to work ."

Jake agreed with the principle of the school that he has days where he doesn't go to school and works and the principle agreed which is great , Jake is in his last year of highschool so it doesn't even matter.

Although for me it does , I still have 2 years until I graduate.

"Thank you ." I kiss his nose then his lips and get up.

"Anytime " He smiles.

I get to the closet and pick out a perfet outfit that I recently bought when me and Jem went shopping, who knew that girl had such a sense of style.

I get dressed in the beautiful outfit and do my morning routine.

Jake then comes down after still in his pajamas.

" Okay I have to go but see you arouuund" I say looking at the wall clock. "Let's say 5pm , that 's when my shift is over ."

"I'll be finished at 4 but still gonna look for some more jobs with my buddy, but maybe stay with Jem for a while untill I come back. Yeah?" he asks and I nod with a smile.

"Sounds like a plan , see you later bye babe" I call out

"Bye sugarplum." I blush at his words and walk out .

I start planing my day in my head and making a mental checklist.

Maybe I can ring Jem and we can hand out today , she can help with the meal plan today and then she can drop me off at school and work.

Jem maybe only 17 but she already has her driver learner's licence and she uses her mom's car.

I continue walking and pass the coffee shop before I walk to the school.

15 minutes in the coffee shop and then head out to the school's building doors. I head to the head office and knock on the door.

"Ah, Miss. Washington I was expecting you ." Principle. Chanter nods at me and smiles.

"Hello sir, I'm here to apologise for not coming to school for almost a whole week" I nervously chuckle.

"That's alright, Jake told me that you have been very ill, are you okay now?"

"Yes , Yes I am sir."

"That's good to hear , now here is you notes that some kids in the class have written for you , and here is the homework that will help for the exams test. " He hands me 4 papers .

3 papers were the notes and the homework was one 1 paper , which made me feel relieved.

"Thank you sir" I nod with a large smile.

" And Lisa? um, your mother came in the other day and she told me what happened , and I assure this information is very confidential . I just hope Jake is good to you ." He looks straight into my eyes .

"Yes he is , he is very good to me" I smile and then the thought of Jake made me blush.

"Thank you sir for the papers, see you on Monday" I call to him.

"Anytime Miss. Washington. " he assures , while I head out of the door , placing the papers in my handbag.

I walk out of the building and walk down the street .

I stop when I notice I come across a building where Aunt Beth used to take me .

The psycologist.

I haven't been there is such a long time , I stopped going because my dad found out and things got worse. I smile and carry on walking .

I decide to give Jem a ring , it's around 10 am so she should be home so I have a shift at 2pm so I have a few hours to go and do some shopping and Jem can help with the house work .
