8. Family Reunion

*RECAP*

"Lisa?"

"Mom?"

"What , how when ?" she questions.

"Let's talk privatly." I tell her pulling her into a room. " Why did you run away , you left me with a man that abused me , he tortured me , and you ran away leaving me behing , WHY?" I bascially yell at her

"Sweetie , Lisa , I thought you would run away as well , I couln't take you with me because If he found me , he would find you too, and I couldn't risk it , why didn't you run away?" she replies and waiting for a reply.

"Well because I thought you would come back , I waited for months for you , and you never came and now... you are here married with a man. Did you divorce dad?" I ask getting confused.

"We were divorced after we moved, and then he just kept on keeping us at his house and did what he did, he wanted people to know that he had the best family there was but we didn't because of him. And yes , I remarried, and ... Jemmah is my child ... she is your step-sister."

" I have a sister?" I ask her in disbelief.

"a step-sister , but wait a minute , do you still live with your father ?And who is the boy? " she places her hands on my shoulders.

" I don't live with dad anymore , I live with that boy and his name is Jake,he moved into the neighbourhood." her eyes lighten up.

"And is he like your boyfriend or?"

"no no , I think we like each other a lot , well ... I like him a lot , but I don't think we are ready to be dating or anything like that ." I assure her.

" I'm so happy I found you , oh darling , I regret ever leaving you , If I knew you didn't run away , I would get you as soon as possible." She hugs me .

"I missed you so much ."

We walk out and decided to tell everyone, it turns out my new step-dad , his name is Carl, knew all along , but they didn't tell Jem, but then I did, I told her she was my step-sister and she was extremely happy that she had a sister and that it was me, everyone got along with everyone . I couldn't be more happy .

The fact that I found my mom , I have a step-dad that can be there for me , a step-sister that is basically my best friend , and an awesome boy by my side and we like each other a lot , so I'm guessing it's been the best week of my life.

" So sweetie tell me , do you still want that job?" my mother asks me .

"uhm, yes I would love the job, I need the money for me and Jake to pay bills and what not" I assure her and she told me that I got the Job and that I start next week Wednesday .

After the dinner me and Jake decided to head on home and cuddle, we watched a few movies here and there and then eventually fell asleep.

Everything was going great.
