Chapter 8: Moving On?

Ame began to walk to school and he met up with all of his friends.
So Hisaki you gonna tell Shizue today?
"Yeah but even then I feel so nervous, and thank you for helping me get over my low self-esteem."
No problem Hisaki, I mean you're my best friend and besides we've been friends for four years but all I can say is go for it, worse case scenario you get rejected but, Shizue told me she has a crush on you so you're pretty lucky, Nikita doesn't have one on me but I think I've moved on from her.
"What do you mean?" Hisaki was curious.
Well ever since Shizue thought I had a thing for her friend Akiko I guess I ended up falling for her but I don't know just yet.
"So you have mixed emotions right now?"
Y-yeah, oh here they come, Hey Shizue Hi Akiko.

"Oh hey Ame, long time no fart. Haven't seen you for a while Hisaki, come on talk to me."
Ame whispers to Hisaki, "Do it, just do it. Make your dreams come true, just...do it!"
"Uh, Shizue can I speak to you in private?"
Hisaki sighs, "Shizue...Will you...Concider going out with me?"
With out even a split second Shizue jumps in and says "YES!"
"Well that went easier then expected, so what do we do now?"
Hey...You two should kiss. Ame shouted
"We're not at that stage yet Ame! Jeez hold your horses up."

"So was it your plan to get them together?" Akiko said
Ame was frozen with fear, he knew he wanted to talk to her but he didn't know how so he suppressed the one emotion that makes him not able to talk to girls...fear.
Well yes and no you could say, Shizue liked him at the start and eventually because of that Akiko, Hisaki fell for her. It just made sense really, she even calls him Hisaki-senpai.
"Yeah I guess, but I mean did you put Hisaki up for confess because Shizue tells me it's usually that she confesses first."
Well yeah, because he has low self-esteem and I fixed that for him by helping him with it. Oh usually I have a social anxiety, I usually can't talk to girls that much, especially new girls that I haven't talked to at all. Well would you look at the time, Hisaki and I better get to Home room.

The bell rings and everyone gets to their home class.
"So Ame now that Shizue and I are going out, what do I do?
Well, it's up to you but the basics are; You better protect her, fight for her, kiss her, love her, hold her, laugh with her but don't make her fall if you don't plan on catching her. All this coming from a single person trying to find someone to go out with, I can't stay with Nikita forever, I can't constantly go after her.
Just as Ame says that his inner conscience starts trying to talk to him.
"Yes you can, you must, she's the one for you, stop giving up."
Ame then snaps out of it telling himself "no...not at school."
"Ame you mind telling me why you were shaking your head?"
Oh, it just helps me get rid of the evil thoughts.
"Oh Okay"

The day goes by and Ame and Hisaki go to there separate classes and wait until they have their break to meet up with Shizue Nikita and friends.
Well Hisaki, looks like I need to tell Nikita I found someone else in my life, and that we'll still be friends but that I haven't asked her out yet or even if I do like her or not.
"Well yeah I guess but, are you certain that you've moved on? I mean you did say at one point she was the love of your life."
Well, she never returned my feelings...It's for the best if I just give up on her. Besides I can always be friends with her still. I guess my everlasting love, really wasn't everlasting.
"It's your choice Ame, it's up to you."
Oh here they come.

Uh Nikita, there's something I need to tell you, take the words I tell you how you please.
"Okay Ame, what is it?"
Well, simplest way to put it is I'm over you now and that I've moved on.
"Well to be honest I'm glad that you are, I mean you were pretty obsessed with me like Senpai notice me."
Well now I am, I found a different girl and I thought you should know since I used to have a thing for you.
"STOP IT- YOU'RE MAKING A MISTAKE AME!" Ame's innerself said.
Ame shook out of it.
"So Ame who is it that you like now?"
I'll tell you but I swear if you tell her, I think I have a thing for Akiko but I don't know yet. Ever since Shizue accused me of having a thing for her, I ended up developing a thing for her. All I can say is, we as humans can have but two purposes in life Nikita, We search for love, we get hurt and then we pick ourselves back up again but, the second purpose of our life is to hurt one another; think about it, Wars, Racism, Sectarian and homophobic crimes. I'm getting off topic though.
"Y-yeah you were, can we talk about something else please?"
Alright if you say so Nikita

The day goes by and the bell for home and Ame and Shizue start to walk home together.
So, Shizue how exactly can I talk to Akiko?
"Just go up to her and say Hi."
It's not that simple Shizue, I'm socially awkward, very socially awkward.
"Well, if you want my advice just say Petit falous meet me at Mcdonalds."
How will that work?
"She finds it funny Ame."
Shizue, thanks to you I'm over Nikita so thank you for that
"No problem Ame, I knew you weren't truly in love with her."
What do you mean?
"You aren't going after her anymore, you've moved on."
Well I suppose we should get going to home now.
"Yeah but Ame one second, just watch me and see how I talk to Akiko.
Alright Shizue, I'll try.

Ame gets home and starts talking to himself again
