I woke up in the morning to Miku – the mommy cat- meowing for food. I got up got dressed and went down stairs. I got out an apple and started to eat it. I went back up stairs and looked through the drawers. I found a container with cat food in it. I took a hand full and put it into a bowl that I had cleaned out the night before. She started eating and I went to look for Kakashi. I found him and it seemed like he had just woken up. When he saw me he groaned.  “How long have you been up?” he asked in a sleepy voice. I shrugged.

“Only about ten, fifteen minutes. “ I said. He sighed and got dressed into his normal cloths. When he was done I picked up my cat and her babies. I put Miku on my head and her babies were either on my head with her or on my shoulders. Altogether it was only four cats so it wasn’t too bad.

As we walked through the streets, I looked at how nice the people seemed. It was nothing like where I come from. That is right up until I saw a man pushing a boy about my age out of his store. I completely lost it and stormed up to the guy.

“Excuse me but I have a question. I saw you pushing this boy out of your store. Now was he trying to steal something?” I asked the man shook his head so I continued.

“Then what did he do to be treated less than dirt?” I asked putting my hands on my hips. The man stuttered but didn’t give me an actual reason. I turned to the now standing blond and pulled him over to the clerk.

“Now, not to be blunt, but please apologize to this boy.” I said with a straight face. The man grumbled but did any way. Seeing that my work was done I started on my way back to the school. Leaving everybody in what looked like shock.

 Kakashi caught up to me soon after but didn’t say a word. We got to the school soon after and Kakashi showed me to my class. Before he left he turned to me and said “now don’t get into any trouble on the first day… save that for tomorrow.” He said

I giggled slightly and waved good bye. I took a deep breath and opened the door. What seemed like a loud class got really quiet all of a sudden. I walked in and scanned the class trying to figure out where to sit. I saw a nice seat in the back where I could be alone.

I walked up there and it seemed like all the eyes in the class followed my every move. It was really creepy but I ignored it and sat in my new seat. I put my cats on the desk so they could play. It wasn’t long before a guy came up to me. His hair reminded me of a pineapple and he looked really lazy. “Hey can I sit next to you” he asked I nodded and he sat.

“Hey I have a question. Will anyone here beat up a girl?” I asked. He shook his head.

“Only a select few people but they wouldn’t do it in front of anybody.” He said. I sighed in relief at the idea of not being beat up any more.

“Hey, new girl! You better stay away from our Sasuke or you’ll get it” shouted a random girl from behind me. Without thinking I replied “did you ever think that I, being new, meant I have no clue what or who Sasuke is?” she moved in front of me with a group of other girls.

 She looked like she was trying to be intimidating. Ok I have a problem with guys, but not a girl. For some reason the idea of being beat up by one made me laugh. The girl said “You against me at lunch. Be there” the class was growing silent and more girls were joining in on the fight while the guys waited in anticipation.

I stood up. “Let’s do it right here right now. You throw the first punch cuz I can swear to you, you won’t get another.” I said. She backed away, turned and strutted of with her little fans.

I sat back down and the guy next to me poked me. ”yes” I said. He shook his head.

“Nothing just I wanted to make sure you were real. Not many people will stand up to her group. We usually ignore them” he said. I shrugged and we left it at that. The teacher came into class with that blond boy from before. The teacher started to scold him and I got distracted so I didn’t pay attention. Then when I heard my name called I realized I was being called to the front.
