The Night

"Where am I?"

A blonde asked to herself as her soft green eyes looked around the place. Just waking up from what seems to be a long slumber, she couldn't remember anything.

"Elizabeth..." she muttered as her name popped up in her head. Elizabeth searched for an exit but with these high walls, it seems impossible. It was getting dark... As she roamed around, Elizabeth was growing hopeless. She couldn't get out of here! She doesnt know what to do, where to go... She was stuck in this gigantic maze.

"A maze! Thats it! That is where I am right now!" Her eyes widening in realization but then, where was she supposed to go? Considering she's trapped... Its either wander or stay at the same place for the night. Wandering certainly won this one... She is a curious person so lets just say she wandered towards the dark path. Not knowing the danger lurking in these areas.

Eliza ( lets just call her that ok? Elizabeth is a handful ) was just about to trudge towards a corner but then clicking noises echoed out. Eliza is starting to get nervous. Without a weapon in hand, she knew she couldn't stand a chance against whatever was out there. After seconds of silence, a huge and ugly creature bursted out.

Its legs so long and so many. Mouth big enough to eat you whole. Razor sharp teeth that can cut through your flesh.  One look at the beast can send you running for your mommy. So to sum it all up, the monster is hideous and dangerous.

Eliza began panic as the creature began to advance. With its claws it was about to strike but thankfully Eliza has fast reflexes and dodged just in time.  She ran and ran planing to lose the monster. Her athletic figure helped her in her escape but it was not enough. The monster hot on her trail was gaining. Even though her muscles were burning in pain and fatigue, she pushed herself to her highest limits.

Spotting vines going up, she started to climb. Eliza doesn't want to die so she climbed and climbed till she reached the top but the monster was still following her. So she jumped down grabbed a vine and swung herself up ignoring her injured hand but despite the pain, she landed on the other wall. Then, Eliza saw a knife dangling on the vines. She tried to reach for it but it was too far.

As the creature approached hope was  lost but Eliza doesn't want to die, so she reached. When she was able to grab it, she struck it inside the creature's mouth obtaining a shriek from the vicious beast but the monster recovered almost immediately and its claw ready to strike but as the sun's rays shone upon the creature, it shrieked afraid of too much light and fled.

She climbed down and almost collapsed in exhaustion but she knew that she need to push forward. Suddenly the ground trembled destroying Eliza's balance. Then she saw something green, she shielded her eyes from the sunlight and cautiously walked towards a green field.

As she arrived, she has never been this happy. A green field full of teenage boys working in the fields but then, the world started to spin. The boys were running towards her. It was the last thing she saw as darkness embraced her.

Guyz this is my first story so sorry for my grammar and spelling... Dont be afraid to write your comments about my story... Tell me when it needs improvement cause i will make it up to you dudes and dudettes.
