Ciara POV
Today I had to work for 10 hours and I knew it was gonna be dreading but I'll manage it. I was in my 4th hour so it's moving somewhat good.
"Hi,welcome to Red Lobster,my name is Ciara and I will be your waitress this afternoon,can I start you off with any drinks?" I ask while approaching the table
"2 strawberry lemonades" One of them say
"Ok,I'll be back soon with your drinks" I say
I go to get the drinks and as I'm walking out I see August.
"Hey" He says
"Hey,can you wait one minute?" I ask
"Sure" He says
I go back to the table and get their order,I go place it in and go back to August.
"So what brings you by?" I ask
"Wanted to see how you doing with these longs ass hours" He says
I've been feeling weird around him lately,I'm not gonna lie,I like it.
"Well it's pretty good,halfway done" I say
"Good,I could get my friend back soon" He laughs
"And do what?" I ask
"Our usual" He says
"Well you better get all ya shit done before I get home" I say
"I gotchu" He says
He makes my heart race so bad I'm surprised it's not visible. Every time I see him the thoughts get deeper and I see him daily so my mind just lost in it and his features are so breathtaking. He knows the right things to say to me when I need it most. I can't control how I'm feeling inside,he's always on my mind,sometimes I don't know what to say around him. I get chills when I look in his brown eyes,August is really beautiful though. He's everything and more,I hope he feels the same way. I have such a bad crush on him,I think of it as,C for his confidence,R for the rumors Drake and Nicki are making and I wish they were true,U for how he's unforgettable,S for his sexiness,and H for how bad I have to have him. I want to tell him but I can't,if he doesn't feel the same way it would make everything awkward.
"Ci?" He asks while waving his hand
"Hmm?" I ask while snapping out of my thoughts
"I said,you need anything before I leave?" He asks
Damn that accent is so sexy.
"Um no I'm fine" I say
"Alright,I'll see you later princess,bye" He says while hugging me
I hug him back and lowkey melt in his arms,the way he calls me princess always makes me smile and his warm hugs.
"Bye Auggie" I say
He walks out the restaurant and I gather my thoughts,well shit that was intense. I take the food to the table and go to the other ones I was assigned. When my shift is over I go home and get in the shower,I put on grey sweatpants,a white wife beater,and pull my hair back into a high ponytail. I hear the front door open and a few seconds later August walks in the room.
"Let us start" He says while taking off his shoes
He gets on the bed and lays his head on my chest,I run my fingers through his curls,and he wraps his arm around my waist.
"This what I've been waiting for all day" He smirks while looking up at me
"Spoiled ass" I say
"But you love my spoiled ass" He says
"Fair enough" I say
I watch TV and listen to him talk about anything he can think of,will I ever tell him that I like him?
