August POV
I was taking my niece to her daddy daughter dance today. I get out the shower and wrap the towel around my waist. I lotion up my body and put the tux on,I put the dress shoes on and brush my hair. I put on a gold Rolex and a pair of unprescribed glasses. I walk down to my mom house,I knock on the door and I get a lil nervous,I haven't physically talked to her in almost 2 months. She opens the door and quietly lets me in.
"Hey ma" I say
"Hi" She says
My nieces come running out the living room and I smile. They attack me with hugs and kisses and I laugh while trying to keep my balance.
"You ready Noonie?" I ask
She nods her head and grabs my hand,I say bye to the rest of them. I walk out the house and back down the block to my car.
"You look pretty Amaiyah" I smile
"I know" She says
I laugh and I hear her gasp,I look down and see her smiling big.
"Is that Ci Ci?!" She asks
I look up and see her walking up to the door.
"You wanna see her?" I ask
She nods her head quickly and I pick her up and catch up to Ci.
"Hi Ci Ci!" She yells,practically jumping out my arms
"Slow down Noonie" I chuckle
I hand her to Ciara and she hugs her tightly.
"Hi Amaiyah" Ci smiles
"I missed you" She smiles
"I missed you too,you good in school?" Ci asks
"Mhmm" She says
"So I see you spending the day with uncle August" Ci says
"I wish you were coming" She says
"Im tired from work but I'll be here when you guys come back" Ci says
"Did you bring biscuits?" She asks
"Especially for you" Ci says
I always loved how enthusiastic Ciara was with my nieces,they love her and she loves them.
"So none for uncle August" She grins
"None for uncle August" Ci says
"Alright that's enough" I say
They laugh and me and Noonie say bye to Ci and get in the car. We get to the dance and greet some of the people there. We eat,dance,and sit at the table just to talk. This was actually really fun,we gotta do one more dance before it's over.
"Can I see your glasses?" She asks while taking it off my eyes
"Yea" I chuckle
She puts it on and tells me to take pictures of her.
"What's the magic word?" I ask
"Please" She says sweetly
I take a few pictures of her then of us together. They play the final song we have to dance to and we leave. When I start driving she asks for ice cream.
"Don't you wanna wait for Kay Kay and Chay Chay?" I ask
"True" She says
"You wanna spend a night with me and Ci Ci?" I ask
