Today I was in the studio and I was suppose to do a verse for August. I personally don't like the idea of him leaving again cause that means Ciara is alone again. Even though me and Aubrey have time to visit more often now,it's still not the same as someone being with you everyday. Me and August thought it would be nice to do a song for our fans so I suggested the one he recorded recently,"No Love". It's one of my favorite songs I've ever heard from him. Until then I was finishing up a verse for the Young Money album,it's been a while since we did a full album. The beat was hard as fuck too,Tyga and Lil Wayne was on the song too.
"Yeah I got an Audemar,I ain't set the time once,and I know they say they shine,I ain't seen 'em shine once,all these rappers is my sons and I'm always nine months,man if this was baseball,I ain't let 'em slide once,Do you see now? You playin' D now? Oh, you wanna beat me,how? Oh, you the number one draft in the league now? Ride down ya block,doors twelve o'clock,lambo the drop,bike niggas ain't stoppin' for a cop,I got this shit locked tighter than a bear hug,when them bitches rap niggas need an ear plug" I rap
They play the track over and I smile while nodding my head to the beat. August comes in and the producers leave,the producer for this song plays the beat over and August re-sings his verses.
"Red light,you know I can't make this thing that official,believe,we had a great night but I ain't the type to tell you that I miss you,shit,you don't like that I make this easy,leaving after sexing on the floor,baby I know you need me like I need you,but I'm not the one you wanna love" He sings
I feel bad for his situation with Ciara,they are perfect for each other but August won't let go of his past. I'm gonna talk to him when we're done.
"So just pop a couple bands with a nigga like me,lovin ain't the same with a nigga like me" He sings
As he continues to sing I mentally sigh,I really wanna find that bitch and make her pay but I've come too far. He finishes and it's my turn to add my verse. I talked to Ci and kinda put everything she told me in my own words and add some.
"August,you know,I'm here to save you,me and them girls,we ain't the same boo,you know I hate it when you leave me,cause you love it then you leave it but you know how bad I need it,you so fuckin conceited,why you coming over weeded? You can't treat me like you treat them,yes I am the crème de la crème,yes I am from one to ten,ten,you fronting in them streets, keep saying we just friends,you can't front like this ain't way realer,I know you hard,I know that you a killer,I know you started off a dope dealer,but let your guard down,your niggas know you feel her,so what you want baby?" I sing
We master it up and the producer leaves,August stats grabbing his stuff and I stop him.
"I wanna talk to you" I say
"Ok" He says
He sits on the couch and I sit next to him.
"Are you really gonna go back to Atlanta?" I ask
"Yea" He says
"So you're gonna leave her again" I say
"No it's not like that" He says
"You sure?" I ask
"Yea" He says
"When are you gonna stop?" I ask
"Stop what?" He asks
"Letting that bitch control you" I say
"She's not controlling me" He says
"Yes she is,you're letting your past control your future" I say
He sighs and runs his hand down his face.
"It's hard to explain" He says
He thought this girl was a rider for him but she told him she found somebody else and on top of that it was one of his friends in Atlanta.
"Is it? Or you just don't want to talk about it" I say
"Nicki please" He sighs
"No,we're gonna talk about this now! Why the fuck are you so hellbent over her?" I ask
"It's hard getting over somebody who you thought was a forever person" He says
"You think I don't know that? You need to say fuck her and move on!" I say
"I tried that" He says
"August do you really like Ci?" I ask
"Of course I do!" He says
"You guys love each other correct?" I ask
"Yes" He says
"Stop running" I say
"I'm not" He says
"You're running away from your feelings for her,you know she's not like Crystal,come on August this is Ciara we're talking about,think wisely,follow your heart,you know what you really need and want to do" I say
He stares at me in thought and I stand up,grabbing my bag.
"Remember what I said,see you before you leave" I say
I walk out the studio and get in my car,I hope he does the right thing.
A/N: You guys think August should go back to Atlanta temporarily or not go at all? Will he choose to give him and Ciara a try?
