August POV
Tonight me,Ci,Drake,and Nicki we're going to the movies and Ci's having some guy meet us. As long as he cool I'm good. We purchase the tickets and 4 boats of Nachos and sodas,we sit in the middle section and the previews are still going. Ciara's friend comes and she introduces him to us.
"Shawn this is Nicki,Drake,and August" She smiles
He shakes our hands and sits down next to Ci. He seem ok so I guess it's good. The movie starts and it's really funny and enjoyable,one of the best I've seen all year. I was bout to ask Ci a question but seen she was too wrapped up in whatever her and Shawn were doing,I brush it off and continue watching the movie. As it goes on they continue little snicks and giggles and it's honestly annoying. When the movie's over we stand up to leave and they still talk on the way out and I roll my eyes.
"Ci can we go?" I ask
She tells me to hold on and I stand behind her and wait. She talks for about 3 more minutes and I sigh in aggravation.
"Ciara can we please leave?!" I semi-yell
She turns around and looks at me confused,she slowly turns back around and hugs him before he starts walking to his car,I'm guessing.
"What's your problem?" She asks
"This is" I say
"You bringing that nigga up and through here,not spending time with us and I planned this so we can do it like old times and the whole time you all up under him!" I yell
"Why do you care?" She asks
"I have every right to,laughing and shit the whole time! Did I even exist to you? Did you recognize my presence or was you too stuck up his ass?" I ask
"Hey August chill out" Drake says
"Nah fuck that,you can't even be around no other nigga unless it's ya brother,me,Drake,or Travis! Other than that I don't wanna catch you around no other guy if I don't know them" I say
"Who the fuck are you to control or have a say so in my life?!" She yells
"August muthafucking Alsina and if you don't like it,oh well!" I say while moving closer to her
"Forreal August get out my space cause you bugging! That doesn't give you the right to try and control me" She says
"You know what gave me the right? Ya dad,he told me no matter what to make sure you never get hurt by anybody! So I have a huge say so in what you do! Now get in the car so we can leave" I say
At this point I'm looking down at her and breathing heavily.
"August back up and get in the car" Nicki says while pulling my arm
Ciara slowly breaks eye contact and walks around me to the car. I get in the drivers seat and drive to her house,we get out and follow her in. I sit next to Drake while her and Nicki go in the kitchen.
"Yo what was up with you back there?" He asks
"I don't know" I sigh
"I didn't mean to yell at her" I add
"Why did you even have a problem?" He asks
"Cause she always pays attention to me and she wasn't,instead she was all involved with him" I mumble
Drake smirks at me and I raise my eyebrows.
"What?" I ask
"You're jealous" He says
"Of who?" I ask in disbelief
"Of Shawm,you can't stand the fact that someone other than you had her attention" He says
I really think about it in confusion. Was I really jealous?
