Ciara POV
I was going to visit my mom today with August,we actually have been talking on the phone everyday since what happened with me and August. She was really worried and I started going to see her whenever I had a chance. We get in the car and pick something up to eat on the way there.
"I'm glad you and your mother were able to fix y'all relationship" He says
"Me too,it's really good so far" I smile
When we get there we get our visitors pass and go to her room,I knock on the door before opening it.
"Hey mom" I say
"Hi sweetie,Hi August" She says
"Hi Ms. Tanisha" He says
We sit down across from her and I hand her her food.
"How have you guys been holding up?" She asks
"Pretty good" I say
"It was definitely a wake up call" August says
"When are you getting released?" I ask
"2 months" She smiles
"You know where you're staying?" I ask
"I'm working on that now" She says
"You can stay with me and August" I say
"No,I can't,you're both grown now" She says
"We ain't that grown" August chuckles
"Think about it" He adds
"Please?" I ask
"I'll think about it" She says
"So I hear you just had a birthday" She says to August
We haven't seen her since last month so she kinda missed his birthday last month too.
"Yea I'm 22" He smiles
"Wow,time flies,how'd you celebrate it?" She asks
"Went to the club with Ci,Victor,Drake,Nicki,and my brother" He says
"How are they?" She asks
"Nicki and Drake actually just got engaged" I smile
"And my brother has a child on the way" August smiles
"That's so amazing,tell them I said congratulations" She says
"Well Nicki and Drake are gonna be here soon" I say
We talk for a while and watch Netflix,Nicki and Drake show up not too long after and they hug her.
"Hi Ms. Tanisha" They say
"Hey you two" She says
She congratulates them and we have a chill afternoon with her. Growing up our house was our kingdom and we would act like we were royalty. My mother was Queen,Father was King,Victor was Prince,and I was Princess. That's where I get the name princess as,also cause that's my middle name. My relationship with my mother is getting stronger and stronger and I'm so blessed to have her in my life for good.
A/N: Her mother is a nice person,everything is starting to come together :)
