Ciara POV
I wake up to bright lights and monitors beeping,I look to my left and see August in the other bed,I look to my right and see Victor sitting in a chair on his phone. He looks up and calls in a Doctor,a few seconds later a doctor comes in. The doctor checks out blood pressure and Nicki,Drake,and Travis come in.
"They ok?" Drake asks
"I don't know yet" Victor says
I curl up in pain and from the chills down my body.
"They're both running fevers and almost lost their lives" The doctor says
"What happened to them?" Victor asks
"We ran some test and found a lot of marijuana,cocaine,and alcohol in their systems,including the Acid drug,ecstasy,and meridiem" The doctor says
"What the hell were y'all trying to do?" Travis asks
"Nothing" I hear August mumble
"Acid and meridiem are extremely dangerous" The doctor says
"You two almost died and you're not gonna tell us why you did it?" Nicki asks
I look over at August and after a few seconds he mouths for me to tell them.
"It was a lot happening,we wanted to escape a lot of things,really stressed out and that was the best way to do it at the moment" I sigh
"We're gonna have to keep you two here for a few days,you're not stable enough yet and you're on suicide watch" The doctor says
"What?!" August yells and I sit up quickly
"The way you described it was an act of attempted suicide,I'm sorry but I can't let you leave" The doctor says
"I can't stay here for a few days,I have a job" I say
"I have a long lineup of performances this week" August says
"A few nurses will be in soon" He says before walking out
"It was dad?" Victor asks
I fumble with my fingers and he sighs.
"What about you? Usual?" He asks August
"Yea" August mumbles
"Well I'm glad you're both ok,don't do that shit again" He says
3 nurses come in and tell them that visiting hours are over,they say bye to us and the nurses give us all types of medicine. They made sure to remove all sharp objects and any prescriptions in sight. They leave and me and August sit in silence for a few minutes.
"They're monitoring us?" He asks
I nod my head and he slowly gets up and walks over to me.
"Last night was so crazy,we overdid everything so bad,when you passed out I panicked then passed out right after that" He says
He caresses my cheek and kisses me slow and soft.
"Let's make a promise to try better" He says
"Ok" I say
He sits next to me and hugs me.
"When we get home,we clean out all the pills we don't need" He says
"That sounds good" I say
He smiles and tosses my hair around,hopefully everything will be better when we leave.
