Luke's voice has disappeared once again, and all I can hear is my breathing. Luke said he would be there a few seconds ago, but the blonde man was still to make his appearance. "Goddammit, Luke, you unreliable bastard." I snarl under my breath, rubbing my hands up and down my thinly covered arms.

I try calm the raging anger I feel inside me, inhaling deeply through my nose and gently rubbing my temples. I had every damn right to be angry, I mean, this twisted man had kidnapped me, taken me to an unfamiliar place and then tried to kill the one person I thought I could be friends with. Who in the world does he think he is. I let out a huff, the anger no longer dissipating.

Out of the darkness I hear Luke's voice speak again. "You called, darling." He drawls. I roll my eyes and spin towards where I know the voice is coming from. Luke was leaning against the doorway I had spoken of earlier, an image of ease. Only the black of his eyes, and the tenseness of his broad shoulders alerted to me that anything was wrong.

"Just take me back to my room already, Lucifer." I snapped, narrowing my eyes. His head tilted to the side and I see his jaw clench. I watch as he gracefully pushes himself off the doorway. I was consistently surprised at how graceful and fluid all of his movement's were- with his long limbs and height I would have suspected him to be clumsy and uncoordinated.

Luke leans in closely towards me, once again ignoring the concept of personal space. "I told you that you could call me Luke." He starts, "So I don't know as to why you still call me by my full name."

"You're lucky I am even speaking to you." I retort, "I haven't forgotten what you did to Ashton." Luke's eyes manage to darken further, and whatever sparkle they had before was gone. Unfiltered rage clouded his eyes, and I knew that I shouldn't have brought up the curly-haired man.

"Do not speak of him in front of me, Eve. Surely you have come to realisation that only mentioning him to me extends the period of time he will be punished for." The threat Luke is sending is barely concealed: the more I mentioned and tried to speak to Ashton, the longer he would be beaten and tortured. I had learnt my lesson. I merely nod at his words, trying not to let the desperation show in my eyes.

"Please take me back to my room...Your Majesty." The sarcasm at the end of my sentence is tangible, and is not missed by Luke, but he doesn't react to it. He merely rolls his eyes and tightly grips the top of my arm, yanking me back down the hallway.

We walk for several minutes in tense silence until the inevitable ache in my feet makes itself known. I had been walking for hours with no shoes, and the pain was starting to become too much for me to walk any further with. I pull my arm out of Luke's grip and lean down to rub the bottoms of my sock-covered feet one at a time.

"What are you doing?" Luke snaps, halting the moment I stopped walking. I let out a small whine of pain and continue to rub my left foot, almost losing my balance. "Damn it, Eve, answer me when I talk to you."

"It's nothing, Luke," I growl back, "My feet are just sore, that's all." I decide to just sit down on the ground for a second, until my feet felt better. I let out a sigh of relief as soon as the pressure was taken off of my feet. Luke is silent for a second before I hear him huff out a frustrated breath. I hear his heavy black boots hitting the ground and I glance away from my feet to see vivid blue eyes watching me in concern.

"How long were you walking?" He asks softly, his voice completely changed again. I shrug my shoulders, and look down again. I couldn't stare at his eyes too long, otherwise I'd forget just how deadly and dark they really were.

"Honestly? I have no clue how long I was walking, but it would have to be a few hours."

Luke lets out a small chuckle and I look up to see a small grin on his face. "Yeah, you would have to have walked for a while, you hit the sixteenth century." I open my mouth to ask him to explain, but he holds up his hand to silence me.

"What do I mean? Eve, I can safely assume that you were trying to escape, right? I can promise you that this is definitely not the way out of here. Actually quite the opposite. This is the place where the damned come, and stay- forever."
