Luke's name is the only noise leaving my mouth- and like a sinner in a church, I'm begging. His soft and slow ministrations were leaving me panting and dripping with desire, and it seemed he had barely begun.

Despite his clear eagerness to screw me senseless, Luke seemed to be all too happy to tease me, slowly dragging a single finger down the length of my naked body. Even the soft cotton of the sheets below my arching back was rough in comparison to the sweet and gentleness of his touch.

Looking at him above me, the incarnation of dominance and prowess, I felt my legs trembling as they hung off the bottom off the far too large bed. I had always scoffed at the overwhelmingly large four-poster bed, but now all I could think was how grateful I was about its extravagance – if tonight was going to happen like I imagined, Luke and I were going to be needing every single inch of it.

Luke's fingers danced around the curve of my hips, grasping tighter to hold me in place as he climbed over me to press another open-mouthed kiss to the base of my throat. The flicking of his tongue at my pulse point left my mouth hanging open in a silent scream for more.

Pressing myself impossibly tighter to him, I feel the grip of his right hand slacken on my hip, tracing gently back down to where I wanted him most. His teeth dragged across my collarbones, my hips automatically grinding up to meet his.

"Do you really want this?" The quiet questioned dragged me out of the pleasurable haze clouding my mind. My hands playing with the soft blonde curls at the nape of his neck tightened as I brought his mouth back to mine in a soft, yearning kiss.

"I've never wanted anything more," I promised. The blinding smile I received in response on solidified the resolve I had been building towards for weeks:

I had fallen in love with the devil.

Fingers tracing gently over my spine slowly drew me from my light sleep. A soft moan of contentment left my mouth, muffled slightly by Luke's chest that I had clearly fallen asleep on. A light chuckle rumbled underneath my ear and the tender fingers stilled on my back.

" 'Bout time you woke up, sleepy head." His voice was light, almost breathy but heavy with clear adoration. Pulling my head slowly away from him, I pulled myself up onto one elbow to see his expression. I smiled gently at the sight that greeted me – eyes closed, a small sweet smirk caressing his face, no trace of the frown that so often graced his sculpted face. He looked so young, so peaceful.

"I'm surprised you're still here." One of my hands rested lightly on his slowly rising and falling chest, fingers tapping an irregular beat. A familiar blue eye cracked open to watch me bashfully duck my head – that was so not the first thing I had wanted to say.

"Of course I'm here. Where else would I be?" Lines creased his smooth forehead that I automatically reached forward to smooth out. The hand that Luke had placed between the pillow and his head quickly grabbed mine as I went to replace it on his chest. Moving it to cup his cheek, his eyes didn't waver as they searched mine for an answer.

"I just thought that you might have more important things to be doing than snuggling with me," I said with a shrug. Luke rolled his eyes at my response, and before I could see him even moving, he flipped us until he was press tightly over me, pressing my back firmly into the soft white sheets.

"There is nothing more important to me than you," He said simply, resting his forehead on mine, shaking his head back and forth slightly to Eskimo kiss our noses. "Plus," he added with a whisper, "I enjoy a good cuddle session."

A giggle escapes me, and I move a hand to cover my mouth in an attempt to smother it. Luke pulls back, his eyes widened dramatically in fake incredulity. "Are you laughing at me?" he asks, hands moving down to press at my ribs. I can't help the laugh that escapes me as his tickles lightly.

"Never!" I gasp out, breathless from laughter. His fingers dig in once more, obviously catching the clear lie. "It's just amusing to me that the big bad Lucifer is such as softy."

Luke groans and presses against me once more, our nakedness becoming more noticeable to both of us. "You can't tell anyone," he jokes, "I can't be losing my street cred."

Another small laugh leaves me, and I can't help the small warmth that spreads through me as Luke joins. He's never seemed so light, so free. Eventually, the giggles subside and the thudding of our slowing heartbeats echoes in our ears.

"I love this," I whisper, hands once again cupping his face to bring his face down to mine. I press my lips to his, but quickly pull back, pressing another to his nose, then his cheeks, his temples, his eyelids and finally his forehead.

Luke doesn't respond, wordlessly accepting my affection – lavishing in it. I had never been able to do this before, and I was relishing in the sudden closeness that gave me the ability to without being self-conscious or wary of my actions. But it was clear that neither of us wanted to address the elephant in the room – after all, who would want to disrupt the perfect peacefulness of our little bliss bubble?

None of the questions regarding my comatose state had been answered, with more and more questions popping into my head the longer I thought about it. What really happened to me? Why had I been targeted? And more creepily, where was my mind during the time gaps that Luke had oh-so-helpfully told me about?

"I can hear you thinking from here, Eve."

A sigh escaped me, and I closed my eyes, leaving my hands to gently traces the curvature of his face. "I'm trying not to think, believe me. But there is so much we don't know, a-and I'm scared, Luke. I don't want anything to happen again. What if next time it's you, or Ashton, or Calum? What happens then? I couldn't live with myself if something happened that could've been prevented if only we knew what happened to me. And-"

Luke cut me off, shushing my quietly, pressing his lips to mine – quite effectively shutting me up. Once he pulled back, one hand gently pulled through my hair soothingly. "We will figure it out, Eve. But for now, let's just enjoy this moment."

After watching me nod softly, he rolled to my side, gently pulling me until my back was gently curved to his front. Plush lips pressed to the nape of my neck and shoulder blades, short-circuiting my brain and effectively making me forget everything we had just talked about.

Heat flooded my body and I turned my head to look back at Luke with hooded eyes. Pressing my hips back to his, I watch his eyes flutter and a small groan leaves him. "I think round three is in order, don't you?"

"Baby, I think we're up to round four at least by now."
