~Emma's POV~

We rushed outside into the chilly night air and I realized how late it must be, there didn't appear to be any activity in the pack house so I assumed everyone was probably sleeping. Rather than running into the pack house like I expected Tyler to do he ran around to the side closer to the woods. When I finally caught up he reached down into the grass and pulled up some sort of trap door.

"Ladies first" He said, and he held the door open for me as I lowered myself into the sketchy basement thing.

Tyler quickly descended the ladder behind me and I took in my surroundings. I felt like I was in some sort of medieval dungeon or torture chamber. One wall was lined with cells and another was covered in guns, knives, and even some bow's and arrows.

"Well sweetie you skipped this part of the little welcome tour didn't you?" I said sarcastically.

"Sorry Em I just didn't think this would give you the best first impression of us" He whispered.

We made our way over to the other side of the dungeon (for lack of a better word) where Chandler and Jason were standing. It was clear that they were communicating via mindlink so I just stood back away from the cell containing the rogue and observed the situation.

The rogue looked to be of average size, his coat was completely covered in dirt and he really did stink which made me think that he has been in his wolf form for quite some time. I also realized that Chandler and Jason had to be pretty strong to subdue and transport a rogue in wolf form, normally werewolves switch to human form when in unusual surroundings. I assumed that what the boys were discussing via mindlink was how to get him into human form because there would be no way of interrogating him in wolf form.

I tried to think back to my training on werewolves. I think I recalled learning about their shifts, and if I remember correctly it can be stimulated by pain or anger. I looked over to the three men who still had not spoken a word out loud and realized they must be trying to figure out how badly/ the best way to torture him.

Well if the boys wouldn't do it I would.

I scooted a little further away and leaned my back against the table containing all of the weapons. I know had a better view of the rogue, but I was still behind Tyler Jason and Chandler. The rogue didn't appear to be paying attention to me and was focused completely on Tyler, but that would change soon.  Most witches use either pyrokinesis or electrokinesis for torture, I decided shocking people was better than setting them on fire so I normally use electrokinesis.

I focused all my energy on the rogue and with a flick of my wrist I administered a low-voltage shock. He let out a soft growl and scooted away from the bars.

Another flick and this time I gave him a much higher voltage, and this time he let out a whine and was completely pressed against the back wall of the cell as far away as possible. This is one stubborn little wolf I thought to myself.

One final shock at a voltage I was certain would be high enough to inflict a maximum amount of pain and this time he let out the most pitiful howl I had ever heard and with that he crumpled to the floor and shifted into his human form.

At this point, all three men were looking at me and Chandler gave me a subtle low-five.

"WHAT WAS THAT" The rogue whined

"It is our turn to ask the questions now rogue" Tyler growled.

"What are you doing crossing pack territory?!" He demanded

"We're coming for you" the rogue sang in a creepy low tune

"ANSWER THE QUESTION ROGUE" Tyler yelled

"There's nothing you can do about it...........Kill me and my death will be avenged. My pack will come for you" The rogue said in a quiet voice, clearly still hurt from the shock.

Tyler scoffed, "You have no pack"

The rogue smiled, "Why can a pack only have werewolves"

"Just kill him, there's no way this pathetic omega knows anything about the hunters anyway" I said hoping that Tyler would take the bait. Luckily he did,

"I don't know, if he says they will avenge his death he must be pretty important" Tyler said.

"Every member is important in our pack! Unlike in these were packs where people are treated like scum" he growled "That is why we must exterminate the other supernaturals, everyone should be equal it's unfair" He screamed.

Okay so rogue's are definitely working with the hunters that's no question now.

"Everyone being equal is a cute idea but there's no way for your little rogue pack to compete against large packs like this one" I said confidently

"The hunters will continue to recruit and our numbers will keep growing" He said and then he stopped and looked scared because of the information he let slip. However, it wasn't a surprise to us.

"Even if you manage to exterminate packs, the council will never let you get away with it" Tyler said.

"The council doesn't stand a chance against our union" He said with a laugh.

I tried to make eye contact with Chandler to let him know what I was thinking, man a mindlink would be so convenient right now. Thankfully though he caught on,

"We're not going to get anything else out of him Alpha, we might as well leave him overnight and kill him in the morning" Chandler said.

"I'll take first watch" I said and for the first time the rogue seemed to fully take me in and he smiled.

Tyler looked very uncomfortable but he nodded his head "Very well" And then he turned and left with Chandler and Jason right behind him.

I knew that if I played this right I could get the rogue to open up to me. As soon as the trap door shut I let out a huge fake sigh of relief.

The rogue looked at me curiously "Not too comfortable around the Alpha now are we?" he said and I smiled internally, little does he know.

However  I kept my composure on the outside and said "Well you've heard the stories..."

The rogue laughed again "They're all show, he's nothing compared to MY alpha"

I stood up from the chair near the cell and walked back over to where the weapons were and noticed a stack of clothes. I picked up a pair of baggy basketball shorts and walked over to the cell and handed them to the naked rogue.

"Thanks" He said as he slipped them on.

Kill them with kindness right?

"So what was it that shocked me when I was in wolf form?" He asked, clearly thinking that I was in some way sympathetic to him.

"Oh all the cells are lined with electrical wiring, one button and you're zapped" I lied.

He nodded and he clearly believed what I was saying. I looked him over and noticed a tattoo on his left arm.

"I like your ink" I said casually

He grinned and was clearly proud of it, "All pack members have them"

"That's so cool. No one around here has any cool tattoos or piercings" I fake sighed and rolled my eyes.

"That's because these packs have to maintain their perfect little image" He said angrily "But Alpha Dawson accepts all his members for who they are" He added.

"So have you really seen a hunter before?" I gushed acting really excited

"Seen them? I live with them, they are my brothers and my Alpha and Beta" He said proudly

"How can they be your Alpha if they aren't even werewolves?" I questioned

"Our pack has so much more than just hunters and werewolves. If you just unlock this cell I can show you" He said and he was now standing against the bars.

"I can show you witches and vampires and mer and furies all working towards a common goal. Just unlock this door" He said

"You wish" I said and with that I turned and walked out of the dungeon.
