Nick stood beside Zak as he discussed matters with the police, but when Zak led them to the area of Emma's body, he stayed behind. There's no way he was going back there. Not unless he absolutely had to. Nick glanced down at his wrist, which was now wrapped in bandages. The scar would forever be a reminder of what had happened in that house. The pain that Emma had felt, how scared she'd been. Nick understood all of it. Her killer had possessed Zak, Zak had harmed Nick, it all pieced together. Nick knew that he hadn't felt even a fraction of the pain and fear Emma had experienced, but what had happened to him made him feel even more connected to the young girl's death.
Nick jumped as he felt a tap on his shoulder. He turned to find an old woman standing at his shoulder. The lady was dressed in a gypsie - like manor, wearing a dress that seemed to be a bunch of scarves tied together and fully engrossed in jewelry. She also had a scarf wrapped in a large ball - like shape resting atop her head. "Excuse me," the woman asked, her voice betraying just how old she really was, "but I was called here to help send a young girl to the afterlife." Nick realized that this was the specialist that he and his friends had called in.
Zak appeared at Nick's side. "Hi, Zak Bagans lead investigator of the Ghost Adventures crew," Zak said, smiling at the old lady. The lady extended her wrinkled, boney hand.
"Lady Selzaca," the woman said, "professional ghost communicator." Zak shook the lady's hand politely.
"Awesome, great to have you here with us Miss Selzaca," Zak said.
"Oh no problem thank you for having me," the woman said.
"You ready to get locked in here with us tonight?," Zak asked Lady Selzaca. "Because there's something else you need to help us communicate with." Selzaca's eyes widened. "There's also a demon haunting this house. We're gonna need your help to drive it away." At this point, one expression crossed Lady Selzaca's face. It was the expression of someone who was thinking, I'm not getting paid enough for this. She agreed anyhow and asked Zak to take her to the sight of the bodies. Zak looked at Nick. "Nick, would you come with us?," Zak asked. Nick shook his head frantically, causing his camera to bounce a little.
"Dude you couldn't pay me even close to enough to see all of that again," Nick said when Zak continued to urge him. "There is no way I'm going down there before the lock down. Not a chance." Zak shrugged in defeat.
"Alright, suit yourself," Zak said. "Aaron you're coming with us." Nick watched in relief as Aaron followed Zak and Selzaca into the house. Nick looked at his bandaged wrist again. He smiled at the thought of Emma crossing over and becoming free from her painful shackles. Part of Nick couldn't wait for the lock down that would be taking place the next day.

Zak tossed and turned in his bed, anxious for tomorrow to come. During the day, Zak and the rest of the crew would be walking around the Collins' residence, cleansing all of the especially paranormal areas. However, at night, when the sun dipped below the horizon, they would drive off the demon holding Emma's spirit captive, then- and this was the far most important part- help Emma cross over to the other side. Emma's family would be with them too, in attempts to make final peace with her family before being sent to the Other Side.
Deciding that he wouldn't be getting any sleep, Zak sat up in bed and switched his lamp on. Zak got up out of bed and walked over to a bookshelf that sat beside his T.V.. Zak reached up to the top shelf and grabbed a large photo album labeled "G.A.C pics-2012". Zak sat down in bed and flipped through the pages of the album. In the first few pages, there were pictures of just Zak, Nick and Aaron. As Zak reached the center of the albums pages, though, Emma slowly began appearing.
There were pictures of Emma on her first investigation with the group, the Young Investigator Special at Saint Francis Asylum. The pictures unfolded from there, with Emma appearing in almost all of them. There were pictures of her and Aaron taking goofy selfies, pictures of her fixing equipment with Nick, interviewing with Zak, and pictures of her sitting at a computer helping Billy and Jay edit down episodes. There were even just random pictures of Emma on her own, and they morphed from her smiling and laughing to being serious and concentrating intensely.
Zak felt sadness overwhelm him as Emma slowly began fading from the pictures again. The last picture that involved Emma was her posing with the rest of the G.A.C in front of an old house that they were investigating for a special. About a week after that special was aired, Emma was reported missing. Zak clenched his fist in anger as the thought of Emma being murdered raced through his head again. She's almost free, he thought, trying to reassure himself. She'll be free from the torture. She'll finally have the clarity she deserves.

Aaron sat at his kitchen table. It was around one in the morning, and Aaron knew he should get some sleep. But he couldn't! He was just to excited! They were going to help Emma pass on to the Other Side, and that's what he was excited for. Although he wanted her alive, he knew that could never happen. So he settled with the satisfaction of taking away her pain.
Aaron leapt backwards as he spotted Emma standing in the corner of his kitchen. She was crouched down and looking around wildly. "Emma?," Aaron asked. "How did you get here?" Emma stood up and shrugged. "You don't know?" Emma shook her head. Now let me point something out, if you've seen one specific ghost so much that you talk to them like they're alive, that's your cue that you've seen them to many times. Nobody wants to be in that position with a ghost.
Aaron looked at Emma as if she still had skin and a beating heart. He didn't want to think about her torn apart body in the basement of her own home. "You're going to be free soon Emma," Aaron said. "This pain won't last much longer." Emma nodded, tears in her eyes. She slowly faded away, disappearing back to her prison. Aaron suddenly felt exhausted and went to bed.
