Zak walked into Ghost Adventures HQ a few days after the second investigation at Emma's house. He walked in with his head hanging low and his back hunched. He didn't want to be here, not without his friend. She's in a better place, Zak thought, trying to cheer up. It helped, but just a little.
Zak jumped back in surprise as somebody harshly grabbed his arm. He looked up to find Aaron looking at him, eyes wild with happiness. "Zak," Aaron said, "you have to see this." Aaron dragged Zak over to a table with a laptop sitting on it. Nick was crouched in front of the laptop, smiling brightly. Aaron shoved Zak towards the laptop. The laptop window was opened to YouTube. The video on the screen was titled, "Most Touching Montage in History Found On Ghost Adventures". It was posted by a Youtuber called EMMAGAC#1FAN.
Zak hit the play button, and he wanted to cry. Immediately, pictures of Emma faded on and off of the screen. Some pictures were just Emma on her own, others were of her and her family, friends or the Ghost Adventures crew. After about two minutes, old clips of Emma on Ghost Adventures started showing. Bloopers and snipets of episodes. The video ended with the camera zooming in on Emma's little wooden memorial cross. "Look through the comments," Nick said from behind Zak. Zak moved over to the comments section and scrolled through it. . .
"R.I.P Emma"
"Will always be my fave member of the G.A.C"
"Never to be forgotten"
"<3 go safely Em <3"
"I'll miss her so much!"
Zak looked through the comments, his smile growing bigger and bigger. Finally, he stood up straight and looked at Nick and Aaron. "As much as I hate the thought," Zak said, "we have to move forward from this. Emma wouldn't want us to sulk. . .in fact she'd probably smack us if she could." Zak smiled at the memory of Emma's fiery temper. "We have to move on. We have to keep doing what we love, only not just for us anymore. Not just to show the world that the paranormal really exists. No. Now, we do this for Emma. She loved this show and strongly believed in the paranormal, and who are we to stop doing what she wanted to do for so many years?" Zak put his hand in the center of the group. Aaron and Nick put their hands on top of Zak's, and Billy and Jay, interested in what their friends were doing, came over and put their hands in. "On three," Zak said. "Ready? One. . .two. . .three!"
"Ghost Adventures!," the men yelled in unison, throwing their hands in the air. Zak smiled, because he knew for a fact that Emma was looking down on them. And for the first time in two years. . .

She was smiling.
