Zak spent a moment staring up through the hole, which he had just figured out was used by Emma's murderers to break into the house's basement to preform a ritual with her body. He ran a hand through his hair, sighing. He didn't know what to do. He planned to call the police after the lock down. . .
Police! That's it! He had to find out who Emma's murderer was associated with so he could report it to the police! Zak yanked an EVP recorder out of his pocket and turned it on. Zak took a seat beside the body next to Emma's, which was likely the body of her murderer whom she'd taken with her to the afterlife in a desperate attempt to save herself.
"Who killed a young girl in this house?," Zak asked. "Identify yourself!" Zak rewound the recorder.
"I. . .ain't. . .tellin'," said a deep, male voice through the recorder. Zak felt himself get angry at the ghost.
"Tell me who you are!," Zak demanded sternly. He felt a rough shove at his chest.
"It's not your problem," the same voice said when Zak rewound the recorder again. Zak leapt up in a fit of rage. With his own ears, he heard a deep laugh.
"Who were you associated with?!," Zak screamed, causing his throat to sting. The demon didn't respond, so Zak began throughly began inspecting the ritual area. After ten minutes of searching the bodies of Emma and her killer/victim, studying the blood stains on the wall and intently staring at the upside down blood cross on the floor, Zak found the words 'Christian Shamers' wrote in tiny letters at the left corner of the cross. "Sick people wanted to sign there work," Zak spat hatefully.
Zak felt his heart begin to race faster, almost dangerously irregular. He clenched his fist. One thought raced through his mind, eliminate the G.A.C. Zak raced towards the stairs with an angry roar. The man was demonicly possessed.Aaron's eyes widened as he heard Zak pounding up the basement steps with frightening roars of rage. He looked down at Nick, who was still in a feeble position on the bathroom floor. Something gave Aaron the idea that he should run. Very, very fast.
As Aaron moved to pick up Nick, the door to the basement burst open. Aaron shook with fear as he heard Zak stomping through the kitchen, huffing angrily. Aaron panicked as he heard what sounded like a knife sliding out of a knife holder. He turned around and screamed. Towering over him was Zak, a knife positioned right above Aaron's head. "Z-Zak," Aaron said, "it's me man. Aaron. Your friend." Zak responded in a voice that was not his own, for this voice was much deeper and rougher. Demonic.
"You paranormal investigator wussies should've left when your dead little friend told you to," Zak snarled, the difference in his voice causing the color to leave Aaron's face. "Now you're all going to die in her house, and nobody's going to know what happened to you. You will all be forgotten, just like her."
"Emma wasn't forgotten!," Nick shouted, pushing himself up off of the floor. Nick glared at Zak with severe anger and repulse. "Whatever you are, you will leave Zak's body immediately!" The demon inside of Zak laughed harshly.
"Interesting how you find so much bravery now when just five minutes ago you were sobbing and regurgitating your insides." Nick clenched his fist.Nick swung his fist at his possessed friend. The demon's eye gleamed, and Nick screamed as the large kitchen knife that it was holding was lodged into his wrist. Blood spurted from the wound on Nick's slim wrist. Nick fell onto the ground, screaming in pain. Gritting his teeth, Nick ripped the knife from his wrist. Nick stood on shakey legs and aimed the knife at his friend's chest. He was about to throw the knife, but Aaron yanked his arm. "What are you doing?!," Aaron screamed.
Nick looked back at Aaron with ferocity. "That's not Zak!," Nick shouted, pointing at Zak with blood dripping over his fingers.
"Zak may be possessed," Aaron said, "but that knife'll kill him! It won't just drive the demon out!" Nick took a deep breath, then let the knife fall from his hand. The blade clattered to the floor.
"Y-You're right," Nick said. He shook his head, then rubbed it with his blood soaked hand. "I can't believe I almost-"
"Don't think about it," Aaron said. "It'll only make you feel worse." Nick nodded, and Aaron released his arm. Suddenly, something shoved Aaron and Nick away from Zak. In the empty space, the apperition of a young girl manifested. The girl was wearing a white tank top; blue skinny jeans; black and white converse; a black baseball cap and brown glasses. The girl was also wearing black leather knuckle gloves. Nick smiled as he realized who it was.Emma.
