His eyes glance from me to Passion, and then he starts pouring us each a glass of wine. Passion flashes him a smile, passes him a wink, and then snatches her drink from the counter. She picks up mine and hands it to me. I wrap my fingers around the warm glass, and then we walk out of the kitchen, wandering to other parts of the house. When we reach the part of the living room, that seems like a pretty nice place to meet and chat with people, we each scan the bodies in the room. The room is large, with one wall being glass, looking over the city. Some people stand and watch out the window, some make out against the wall, some just chat while sipping at their cups, and some groggily dance to the faded music playing from the other room.
Passion takes me over to a small leather couch that is vacant. We plop down on it and she starts talking right away, blabbing about her classes she has to take this semester. Soon enough though, a man walks up and checks us out. He has blonde hair and brown eyes, with a charming smile, "Would one of you like to join me in a dance?"
I hesitate a second too long. Passion hops up from the couch and smiles brightly at him, "Sure!" She pauses to throw me a wicked smile and mouths 'see you later'.
I shake my head as I watch his arm wrap around her shoulder and pull her closer. I hear her giggle, and then I watch her disappear into the crowded kitchen where we came from, heading for the other room where the music is thumping through the speakers. After a few seconds, I decide to finally take a sip of my wine.
After the warm liquid smoothly runs down my throat, I take a breather, and then decide to check out the other rooms in the house. Stepping out of the living room, I wander over to a door that a couple had just went inside. Swinging open the door, I reveal a staircase. The couple makes out against the wall, biting each other harshly between kisses.
I pass by them, trying not to get in the way of their fun. Slithering up the steps, I enter the very last door, hoping to enter somewhere where I can checkout the city without drunks running around or making out. Opening the door, and opening it, the night breeze whips up my hair and makes it float in the air.
I close the door behind me as I step onto the roof of the house. The first thing I notice is the stars. Thousands upon thousands of stars sparkle thousands and thousands of miles away. The moon beams down on me, making me want to never look away.
A deep voice shakes me from my gaze with the moon, "Hi... Haven't seen you before?"
I hear footsteps tap up to me, "Freshman?"
I turn to my left, spotting the man that had spoken in his enchanting voice. He has thick black long hair that sits perfectly on his head, flowing in waves down the side of his head. He has majestic blue eyes that twinkle in the light from the starry night sky. A kind smile creeps onto his face, dimples appearing at the corners of his mouth.
"Yeah." I reply, staring at his beauty in awe, "New to the city."
He breaks eye contact with me to turn and lean on the rail to stare out into the city, "You'll love it here if you love cities. Welcome..."
His hair dabbles in the air when a breeze swiftly brushes by us. I glance out into the city, "I'm guessing you live here?"
He laughs gently, "Yeah... Actually... I live right here."
"In this house?" I ask, "Is this your party?"
"Nope." He sighs, shifting his position to the side to face me, "My brother's."
"Oh." I respond, "Your brother plays football?"
"Yep..." He laughs, "So you've already got the scoop on him?"
