I pace impatiently back and forth in mine and Passion's dorm room. How could Passion do this to me? What if he isn't the gentlemen of a man I took him to be and he only wants me 'cause of my body?
I try to calm myself down, replaying what happened earlier.
"Why did you text him that?" I spat angrily at Passion as we were exiting the mall to go back to the dorm. Passion's surprised expression was nearly hidden behind all of the shopping bags she was lugging around.
"Sorry..." She responded, not acting very guilty from her actions, "I thought since the guy from the party asked me to come over, it would be fun for you two to hangout at our dorm."
"Wait... What?" I asked her, confused to what her point was.
"That guy I danced with at the party yesterday told me to come over today, and that leaves you and the empty dorm. I thought you'd want to have some company and maybe get a little-"
"Just..." I raised my hands up in surrender, "Stop right there."
"Are you mad at me?" She replied when we got seated in the taxi I had flagged down.
"A little." I admitted.
I guess I really wasn't mad at her. I guess I was just nervous at the thought of being alone with him again. I mean, what if everything goes wrong?
As if on cue, a gentle knock drifts into the air, Keaton's voice following it, "Lex, it's Keaton."
I hesitate, eyes glimpsing down at my outfit. My skinny jeans and tank top aren't too dressy, and my bare feet and finger-combed hair give my appearance a laid-back vibe.
Without wasting any more seconds, I wrap my fingers on the door knob and swing the door open. My eyes inspect the gorgeous body in front of my eyes as I let him in the room. Keaton's white T-shirt and jeans that I had seen before are still stuck to his body, and his converses clap against the wood floor as he enters.
I smile, but it fades as soon as I notice the cuffs that he was hiding behind his back. His icy eyes flash with a look I haven't seen them before... Almost... Evil looking.
He starts closing the door behind him, and I feel my legs moving backwards, backing away from him. He brings the cuffs in front of him and finishes shutting the door, closing me off from any hope of escape if he is about to do what I think he is about to do.
"I mean no harm, unless you struggle." Keaton's once enchanting voice clouds my thoughts, "I know about you."
"You know about me?" I question, my voice shaking the slightest, my legs still shuffling away from him.
"I know that you are different." He replies, continuing to walk towards me, his hands twirling the handcuffs around like he has not a care in the world.
"What?" I gasp as my back bumps into the wall of the dorm, my legs stuck in between suitcases, "Keaton, why do you have cuffs?"
"I work for the government." Keaton explains, his cold eyes darting down to my hands as he brings the cuffs towards me.
I pull away, but his arms are stronger than mine. He grabs my wrist, pulls it down, and hooks my arm into the cuffs. An awful smile spreads across his face as he hooks my other hand in after fumbling with it for a few seconds.
