"I'm starving!" A voice complains, ringing in my ears and causing me to snap out of the dreamless sleep I had been in.

I don't open my eyes yet and decide to listen to what the boys would talk about when I am not conscious.

"Wait." Dean's voice pleads from the left side of me, "Let's let Lex sleep a little longer."

"But-"

"How did you find us earlier?" Dean asks Barrett, changing the subject as if stalling him would let me sleep longer, "If the master lives so far away, how could you have found us just in time? It makes no sense..."

"I traveled a week ahead of time." Barrett's voice explains, "The master knew when to leave and where to go."

"He did?" Dean asks him, "How?"

"He just does." Barrett replies vaguely.

"And where is it exactly that we are headed to?" Dean questions.

"Well... The master doesn't just live in a regular house. He lives underground..."

"Underground?" Dean repeats.

"Yeah... He built a whole underground town... With just his hands." Barrett informs Dean, "The town houses over 100 people... All of them having a special ability that the master gave to them."

"An underground town?" Dean repeats again, "That's not possible. Air pressure would bash everyone's skull in, and the whole place would be in the dark because-"

"The master made it possible." Barrett exclaims, "He-"

A noise sprouts from where I am guessing is the door. A mechanical voice booms into the room, "House keeping!"

My eyes widen, filtering the hotel's light into them. I blink a few times, eyes adjusting quickly. Sitting up, I hear the sound of the door swinging open and hitting the wall.

I feel Dean's hand grab my arm, causing me to glance up at him. His worried expression sparks something in my mind, forcing me to get out of the comforting bed and hop to my feet.

"How the heck did that machine find us?" Dean asks me.

"The government has machines?!" Barrett's voice bounces off the hotel's walls. I glance around the room, but he is gone... Or rather... Invisible.

The robot from before charges into the room, metal parts inside of it clicking and scraping together. I scream as the machine's automatic eyes lock with mine. It makes a beeline across the room, heading straight for me.

I watch as Dean's thick body glides in front of mine, his fist outstretched and his legs holding his body in a slanted way to keep himself steady as the machine rams into his fist. The robot is caught off-guard, his chest caving into a dent where it and Dean's fist made contact.

I sprint away from the robot, running behind it, heading for the door. I stop short when the robot's arms rear back to throw a punch at Dean, and grab onto its arms before it swings at Dean. Dean curses as my body flies on top of the machine from the strength of its arms as it attempts to hurt Dean.

I curse too, realizing if the robot would've punched Dean, it wouldn't have fazed him. I slide off of the machine, and turn to run for the door.

In one swift movement though, the robot whirls around and wraps its arms around my waist, pulling me against it. I struggle to become free, but I fail to escape the robot's sturdy grasp.
