Raven (Nico Di Angelo love story)

Chapter 11- So right but so wrong...

So Nico managed to get Dinonysis' Gem while i won Hera's and Hermes'. 

"Now we proceed, quickly, to Alaska." Leo says. "Oh wait sorry not that quickly..."

"Leo it's fine we will get there quick enough." Percy reassures him. 

"So." I inhale. "From Manhattan to Alaska to California and then to Texas, right?" I confirm.

Percy looks down at the paper Chiron gave him and nods. "Yep!" He exclaims, popping the 'p'.

"So train, plane? What is it?" Nico asks.

"No plane for us." Percy says, pointing to himself and Nico. "Raven is okay in Zeus' terrain but we're not. I guess train it is." 

We all nod and shuffled our way around the ruins and out of the building that used to be intact. 

"And i didn't even get proper fries." I mumble and Nico punches my shoulder, telling me to shut up.

The train station is freakishly deserted. 

"Cue for awkward crickets sounds." I laugh as we stand on the platform, silent and confused. 

"It should be packed." Percy says. "Its almost scary."

"What's the time Leo?" Nico asks.

"1:45, people should be out buying lunch and stuff..." Leo says, producing a watch from his tool belt.

"Lets not worry about it." I say after a moments more silence. "We need to get to Alaska so lets just buy the bloody tickets and get out of this creepy place." 

The boys nod in agreement and we head off to buy out tickets. In total there was about 20 people in the station, not including us. We paid for out tickets and took a seat for the next train which was due to arrive any second.

"Give us the Gems or he dies." An almost sour voice echoes from behind us. I whip around and we all came face to face with a woman in her 20's. She had long blonde hair and misty blue eyes with flawless skin. She might of seemed harmless if she didn't have one hand of sharp nails digging into Leo's neck and the other hand holding a dagger also at his neck. 

"Yeah...NOPE." I sigh and act quickly. I draw Mortem and before the Empousa could register what was happening, my dagger flew through the air and stuck itself in her right hand. She screamed in pain, letting Leo go, as she held her bleeding hand. 

"YOU!" She screeched.

"Who me?" I teased.

"Yes you!" 

"Wha- who ya talk'n to?" I almost smile.

"You will pay for this! Ladies!" The Empousa bellowed.

All off a sudden the small number of people, females to be precise, began to close in on us. I should have noticed something odd about the only people here being  20 year old Barbie doll replica's.

"Oh...well shit." I laugh. I was so tired and so hungry that everything seemed funny to me. I hear a woosh from behind us and i know the train has pulled up.

Leo looked washed out. His skin, which was normally a nice olive, was now pale and milky. He didn't have the fun look in his eyes and he seemed to be faint.

"Nico get Leo on to the train. Percy stick with me!" I order them.

"Don't tell me what to-" Nico protests.

"HOLY HEPHAESTUS! JESUS FUCKING CHRIST, DI ANGELO JUST DO AS I BLOODY WELL SAY AND GET MY BEST FRIEND TO SAFTEY!" i scream, finally loosing all my happiness.
