Did I ever mention how I hate flying? It sucked. I had to keep my mouth closed or else I swear I would have eaten more bugs then I'd like.
"So you want a cheeseburger?" I looked at Logan.
"No, I want two!" I herd Blake laugh. I knew Logan had his favorite smirk plastered on his face.
"Mariah you know, most girls would fake it and say they wanted salads. You say you want two cheeseburgers. Not one but two. You're something." Blake said. I felt Logan stiffen.
"Something wrong Logan?"
"Yes. That jerk I call a best friend hitting on you." He said, bitterly. I laughed.
"Jealous?" No answer.
"Aw its okay Logan. There's enough of me to go around." I said. I felt Logan relax.
"You were suppose to say don't worry I only see you like most girls would." He said.
"I thought we already established that I'm not like most girls." I answered. Blake laughed and I knew Logan had a smirk on his face.
I felt something ring inside my pocket. Oh no. My phone. How was I suppose to answer? 'Hey sorry can't talk right now. I'm too busy half flying in the air with my kidnappers that want to kill me but choose not to. Hey if you see Freddie tell him I can't go to the dance. Being kidnapped does that to a girl' will not go over well.
I took out my phone and looked at the name on my screen. Adam. Shit. He was probably worried sick. I had to tell him I was okay and on my way to get a cheeseburger.
"Don't answer it." I herd Logan say.
"But its my brother. He's worried sick!" Logan stopped and so did Blake.
"You can't answer, Mariah. As much as you want them to know you're fine, I think its best if they think your dead." Well this was a shocker. Blake said something serious. They had a point. But I couldn't shake the fact that Adam and John were family.
I felt two strong arms pull me into an embrace.
"We're your family now." I smiled, trying to hide the pain I felt in my chest. I have to keep Adam and John safe. I can't let them know where I am. So I did the right thing. I gave my phone to Logan.
"What am I suppose to do with it." I could hardly get the words out there. So, I thought them, knowing Logan would here them.
"Are you sure?" I nodded my head as he took the phone and crushed it in his hands, then threw it again.
"Aw, Mariah you did the right thing. Now they're safe." Blake said, putting his arms around me, then taking them off when Logan glared at him.
"I know its just... That was my favourite phone!" Okay so I sounded like a bitch by caring more about my phone then my brothers. But it took me a whole month to get it after I broke my other one when I accidentally tasered it at the police station.
"You tasered your phone?" Man I hate when Logan reads my mind.
"I was experimenting and stop reading my mind!" Blake laughed and I playfully hit him of his should. Well tried to but he caught my hand and pulled me into a hug.
"This makes up for the bug story." Blake said. I laughed and hugged him back before Logan pulled me back to him.
"Its hard when they're so loud. By the way, Calvin is such a sexy beast right? Oh but no name man he's just too cute." I glared at Logan. I didn't know he herd those.
"I hate you."
"Love you too, Mariah. Oh and next time, you could have just asked us. We would have let you go. Well I would have. I don't like bringing humans into our fights. Oh wait, you're not human. Never mind." Before I could ask him what he meant, we were back in the air. Getting to a cheeseburger place was taking longer then I thought. When I asked Logan, he said he was taking me to one out of the city. Like come on!
