Logan held my hand the whole time, never letting go.

"Okay guys, we have to do this right. Mariah's life is on the line." He said, walking further into the forest.

"Nice way of putting it gently." I added sarcastically. He groaned at me.

"Not the time Mariah." I held my hands up in surrender.

"Take her to the police station. They know you would never bring her close I her brothers so they'll never check there." Jack suggested. Logan looked like he was thinking it over. Last second he changed his rout.

"Looks like you're not useless after all." Logan teased, while Jack just glared.

"Yeah, not the time to fight." Blake said, pulling me away from Logan. Logan growled but Blake shrugged it off and carried me on his back.

"Count of three. One, two, three!" They took off taking me to the station. I can't lie, I was pretty excited, but knowing Logan I was not going to see my brothers at all.

We were making our way when Bae came out of no where.

"Fuck," Logan muttered. I was getting nervous.

"What happened?" Jack asked. Bae turned to Jack and everyone else.

"They got her scent and are coming." And in that one sentence, everything changed. Logan grabbed me from Blake and started calling out orders.

"Mariel and Jack try to distract them. Bae and Blake lets get her out of here." Maricel refused to go with Jack at first but agreed when Blake glared at her.

"Bae keep listening in on their conversation and tell us what you found out to be important." Bae nodded his head and in no time we were back on our path.

I kept squirming in Logan's grasp and it seemed he was getting annoyed.

"Blake, calm her down please. Actually better yet put her to sleep." He said stopping in the way.

"But I'm not tired." I argued. Blake came over and lifted my chin to face him and I knew what he was doing. I starts to shake my head and move away but Logan was holding me back. I closed my eyes to not get brain washed, and I literally mean brain washed, into something.

"Open your eyes Mariah. He's going to help you. After that the next time you open your eyes you'll be safe. I promise." Logan's voice was smooth and strong in my ear.

"You mean it?" I asked, eyes still closed. I felt his lips on my neck and he nodded his head.

"I promise," he finished. I opened my eyes and Blake was ready. I kept hearing his voice echo in my mind.

"Sleep Mariah, only wake up when I tell you too. Sleep." And I don't remember a thing after that.

I woke up in a dark room all alone. I was laying on the ground. Logan and Blake would never put me on the ground. Something was wrong here. I felt scared at that moment. Being afraid of the dark was not helping my situation either at this point. Yes, I know what you're thinking. The mouthy and 'brave' Mariah is afraid of the dark. Well, it's a scary place. I can't see anything. For all I know a man eating snake is in the room and one move equals my death. Or worst, Logan gave me to Serena who's somewhere hiding in the dark ready to seduce me. Oh why do all the bad things happen to me.

I heard a woman's laugh somewhere in the distance. Okay so it's not a snake, but it's not Serena either. She doesn't sound like that.

"You really are a dumb blonde, do you know that? Why the hell would Logan, Blake or even Jack want a little pesty girl like you? That's the question I'm wondering." I turned my head in all directions, trying to put a face to the voice.

"Oh how rude of me. You're wondering who I am aren't you?" The lights came on and there she was. She was a brunnette, with emerald eyes that sparkled. Her lips were as red as a rose and her face pale but flawless. She really was a beauty.

"I'm Stephanie." She said and my world came crumbelinng down. Here in front of me stood the ex love of the man I had fallen for.

"W'where am I?" I asked, voicec shaking. Stephanie's smile disappeared.

"That's what I'm here to find out, you air head." Wait now, she had me confused.

"What the fuck are you talking about, blood sucker? You brought me here." I stood up and faced her.

"Guess Logan didn't tell you what I can do. I have the power to enter dreams. Blake and Logan must have forgot that little detail about me or they wouldn't have put you to sleep." She smiled. I wanted to smack it off her. Then I remembered what she said. It's my dream. I could slap her. Not like she could kill me here, and even if she did, I could come back to life. Now it was my turn to grin.

Stephanie's smile disappeared.

"Don't even think about it you twat!" She started to back away.

"Such big talk for someone who's in someone else's dream." I muttered back.

"Mariah," This new voice wasn't Stephanie's. I recognized it. It was Blake. Stephanie's grin returned.

"Looks like bed time is over for you, air head." And everythig faded away. I opened my eyes to see Logan and Blake. Mostly Blake. They were leaning over me and breathing on my face. They smelled like blood. Ew.

"What the fuck is the matter with you too?" I asked, pushing them out of the way.

"She's up." Logan muttered.

"Hell yeah I am. Oh and next time, tell me what Stephanie is able to do, you dumb shits!" They looked at each other.

"She came to your dream didn't she?" Blake asked. I nodded my head.

"What did you tell her?" Logan asked, picking me up and placing me on his lap.

I thought back to the dream.

"I told her that she talks big for someone who's in someone else's dream." Blake laughed.

"You weren't scared by what she was doing?" Logan asked, seeming confused.

"Well I was a bit at the beginning but then she called me an air head and I got mad at that point. So I threatened to slap her and she backed off." Logan smiled and me and kissed my neck.

"Looks like the rumors true, huh Logan?" Blake asked, also smiling. Logan nodded.

"What rumor?" I asked.

"There was a rumor that if you touched a vampire in your sleep they would die in the dream and in real life. This is because their soul is travelling in the dreams. No one even thought to try it, so the theory was never proven. Only the vampires that had this power knew and they wouldn't tell anyone. Not even their lover." Logan explained.

"It doesn't make sense. Why didn't anyone just try to touch them then and see if it was true?" Now I was really confused, Dumb vampires.

"We're not dumb, Mariah. There was another rumor that if you two had any physical contact, the dreamer would die. This is why no one tried it." He finshed. I really hate it when he reads my mind.

I got out of Logan's lap and looked around. And I almost fainted. We were in Adam's office.

"What happened to going to the police station?" I asked, knowing we were in the hospital Adam works in.

"Bae came by again. They figured we'd be going there so we changed rout and came here. It made more sense. John isn't the best at dealing with but Adam is." Blake explained. Jack and Maricel entered the window that moment.

"Hey, everything's clear outside. No sign of them. Can I have Mariah now please?" Jack asked, coming over to me. Logan thought it over.

"Sure, stay close, though. Or else, Jack your head will be on a stick and Mariah, you'll be sentanced to one week locked in a room with Serena." He finally said.

"No fair, Jack's punishment is not as bad as mine!" I yelled but Jack just pulled me out of the room and through the window.

"We'll be safe, I promise!" He yelled back to Logan. And in no time, we were out in the dark, alone.
