Chapter 14 - Why Did I Come?

Logan took us all out into the forest. Jack didn't let go of my hand the whole time, and being honest, I didn't want him too. This side of the forest was pretty freaking and considering it was night time, I didn't do well in the dark. 

Maricel kept giving me dirty looks the whole time. What the fuck did I do to her? To make things more confusing, Serena kept glancing at me and giving me a sorry look. Something was wrong here. 

Out of no where Serena stopped in her tracks, turned around and walked straight towards me. Ignoring every ones questions she grabbed my arm and pulled me along with her. 

"Hey, Serena bring her back here!" Logan called but she just turned around and looked at him. She was using her mind to talk to him and her grip on my arm got harder a bit. 

After a while, Logan finally nodded and she continued to walk me out somewhere quiet. When she finally found a place she let me go and turned to face me. 

"I know, Mariah." She finally spoke. 

"Know what?" I asked, confused as fuck. She let out a little laugh. 

"You are in love with Logan. I know you are." My face turned pale. 

"I, um, I have no idea what you're-" 

"Don't use that crap on me! Everyone else might be dumb and blind to it but I know you're not happy with Jack. Don't get me wrong you love him too but more like a brother and not a boyfriend. It's okay I won't tell anyone. I think he loves you back." It was my turn to laugh now. 

"If he loves me he wouldn't be making out with my twin sister behind my back, now would he?" Her expression changed. She looked raged. 

"Maricel kissed him?" I nodded my head. 

"That little bitch! I never liked her you know. She comes here and thinks she the big deal. She does't fit in and she never will. I'm still trying to figure out how you two are related!" Hold on a second. Was that a compliment? From Serena? 

"If I didn't know any better I'd think you actually like my, Serena." Serena looked down. 

"I never said I hate you," She mumbled. 

"But you sure acted like you did." I laughed and she joined in. 

"It's just, Blake was... never mind." And that's when I figured it out. Serena loves Blake. And straight from the beginning Blake was all over me. Of course she'd hate me. Fuck, I hate me now. 

"Serena you know Blake doesn't think about me like that." I said, stepping closer. She smiled and me. 

"I know. It took me a while but once I found out you loved Logan it was pretty clear to me." I returned her smiled and we became best friends! I lied. We awkwardly hugged before Logan came and told us to hurry up. On our way back I asked Serena what she said to Logan that made him let us go. 

"Easy, I have a lot more on him then he does on me and with one 'don't you dare kill her' look, he allowed us to go." I rolled my eyes and smiled. 

"You're so devious. I like you!" She smiled. 

"I like you too!" 

"Yes everyone loves everyone now can we go I'm starving!" Garrett complained when we arrived and everyone laughed. 

"Yeah, let's go." Logan announced and Jack came up to me and held my hand once more. 

"Everything okay with drama city over there." He whispered in my ear and refereed to Serena

"I heard that Prince Charming and soon you won't have such a cute face!" Serena yelled back. I laughed. 

"Everything's fine, Jack. Don't worry." And I actually meant it. Maybe not everything. I was still in an unknown battle with my sister but I wasn't hated anymore. 

"Are we done babying Mariah now?" I heard Maricel say. I whipped my head in her direction. 

"What did you just say?" I asked. She smiled and walked up to me. She stopped when she was inches away. 

"Awh did I hurt poor little Mariah's feelings?" I glared at her. 

"No, but I'm about to hurt slutty Maricel." She looked at me confused and I smirked. Logan noticed it and stepped forward. 

"Maria don't you dare-" But before he could finished I punched my bratty sister in the face with all the strength I had. It caught her off guard because she went flying to the floor. 

"You little bitch!" She said getting up. 

"What's wrong Maricel? Can't take a punch from your little sister?" And then all I saw was a blur. When it slowed down, Logan was holding Maricel back. 

"Don't you dare touch her, Maricel! Or I will kill you. We both know I won't hesitate!" She pushed herself back. 

"Of course because you are just like the rest. Protect Mariah and the fuck with Maricel. But I'm done with this bullshit. Me and Mariah are not sisters let alone twins anymore!" 

"Better for me!" I yelled at her. 

"Shut up, you little tramp!"

"Someone's asking for another punch I see." 

"Enough both of you! Jack hold Mariah and don't let her out of sight. Bae you're in charge of Maricel." Logan shouted. Jack came up to me and pulled me back. 

"Nice punch," He whispered in my ear and I smiled. 

"Thanks," I answered.

"Damn, Mariah can throw a good punch," I heard Bake say to Logan. I couldn't help but smiled. Everyone was so shocked with my punch. I'd be lying if I said I wasn't proud of what I did. 

We walked a little more before everyone stopped and me being the clumsy person I am almost fell face first into the forest ground. 

"What's-" Jack covered my mouth. Out of no where a deer passed by. Logan ran and attacked the poor thing. I covered my eyes in horror. Logan went from the sexy guy to this blood sucking monster. His fangs came out and his eyes changed from their grey to red. Bloodily red. Jack must have noticed my horror when he turned my around. I hid my face into his chest as he stroked my hair. I held onto him as tight as I could. 

"It's okay baby, he's just feeding. Don't worry, I'm right here." He kept whispering things to me. 

"Jack, it's your turn. I'll take her from here." It was Serena. 

"Clean your mouth first." Jack said and after a minute of silence, he passed me over to her. 

"Take her far, I don't want her seeing me like that." Serena nodded and held my hand. 

"Let's go and be shit disturbers together." She smiled. I returned her smile and with one last kiss from Jack, I headed off into the forest with Serena. 

"Maybe I shouldn't have came." I broke the silence. Serena stopped. 

"Why not? It's not a bad thing I mean you saw Logan kill a living being right in front of you it takes time to get used to." I shook my head. 

"I mean maybe I don't belong here. Maricel sure would love to see me gone." 

"Maricel's a bitch and by the way, amazing punch!" 

"Thanks," I smiled. 

"Hey, you belong her just as much as the rest of us do." She returned my smiled. 

"Wow, how cute. The two of you getting along." Serena and I looked up and were shocked. There in front of us stood the one person I was really sacred of. 

"Stephanie." Serena muttered. 

"That's my name, sweets, don't wear it out." She smiled and every hair on the back of my head stood up. 

Why did I come?
