A War of Worlds
Chapter Eight of Book One
“Very well job, dear Dew. I knew I would find excellence in you!” went a voice.
Algebra was still a bit groggy. She could hear some things now, but sight and movement was not an option for her. So, she lay still staining to listen carefully.
“Thank you master. What should we do with them?” went another voice.
Dew.
“Leave them be for now. I want to them to see my plan succeed. Plus, I have some things to deal with them personally. Face to face.”
Algebra now thought that the voice seemed a bit familiar.
“Fine. I'll go tend to Hassium then.” Dew bid farewell.
Then Algebra heard the feet tap on marble floor fade away.
“So we're in a building, I guess. But what did the man mean about dealing with some things personally?”
“Hmm... I wonder which one I should turn first? No- I should ask them first if they would willing come join me. They might say yes, since they are familiar with me already. I just have to somehow bend the truth a little bit.” the stranger chuckles as he thinks out loud, “But I won't need to worry. All I need is the girl in my grasp and I can just kill the others.”
Algebra tenses at his words. She tries to listen even more carefully, but the more she strains the more she gets tireder and tireder. And at last, she's fallen asleep.

“Wake up my little prisoners.” as oft voice calls out.
Algebra's head snaps up immediately. She doesn't seem to be laying on the ground anymore. Instead, she's sitting on the ground with Dew standing right in front of her. She waves with an evil smile. Her eyes shining bright gold. Out of instinct, she lungs right at her. But she's knocked right beck down by an invisible force. She tries one two times and the result was indifferent. So she then slowly brought her hand out and touched something. Smooth yet slimy like a bubble. Algebra was in a bubble. She panicked and started to hit every side of it to get out.
“How pathetic. I kind of accepted more from your Waters.” Dew cackled at her useless attempts.
Algebra looked around her. Selk was sound asleep and another body covered by a big coat lay on the floor. None of the others were there.
“Selk! Selk, wake up!” she tried to call out to him.
“Don't bother. He won't be able to hear you through the sleeping drug we gave him. I'm surprised you managed to wake up already. You're supposed to be not awake until about ten more minutes. Though, that's still not that good.” Dew cocked her head to the side as if examining her.
“What are you talking about? Maybe you only gave me half of your drug thingy!”
“Aww, now don't saw that. You're going to make me have false hope.” she smirks.
“What is with this girl? She was not the same a few hours ago!” Algebra huffed in annoyance.
“What are you going to do to me and Selk?”
“Torture probably. But sit down and relax. You'll have plenty of time before that happens.” she giggles and then leaves the room
Slamming the door on the way out. The other body stirs at the loud sound.
