Caerus POV
"Fuck!" I scream out in agony. My brain was on fire. Slowly eating everything away, vision becoming splotchy as I beg silently for this to not be the end.
Flash Back!
•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°"Wait you're kidding me right?" My voice wavers as I look at the woman.
"No, its real." She shrugs "you could always see for yourself you know? I did tell you exactly where it was located." Her smile was devilish but for some reason my mind believed she was telling the truth, but all the truth? I wasn't positive up on that.
Skeptically I nod. "I shall consider dropping my presents when Atropos returns from her meeting."
Her laugh catches me off guard. It was a cruel, deep, a belly laugh, in which a man might have. A man who was insane and standing before his first victim, ready to kill.
"WHAT!" I snap. My fist clench as I shove them in my hoodies front pocket.
Her laugh stops in exactly six moments. "Nothing..." She pops her left ring finger. "You're just so... I don't know. Umm how do I put this? Whipped?" A bubbled giggle escapes her throat sounding cruel and daring.
Silently I curse not being able to rip her head off. Teeth clinched I mutter, "you're lucky law of my clan forbids any harm to the below workers of the high council!"
Her laughs stop. "I'm sorry, do I infuriate you fledgling!" She spat the words at me. They stung, they stung like venom.
"No." Counting to five in my head as I than continue, "you actually make me feel."
She looks up at me with great confusion. "Vampires do not feel?"
A smirk plasters to my face. "Nah, you're right. Although when I speak to you those feelings return." I laugh softly, "I remember what pity feels like. So yeah you're right Verta. I may be fledgling but at least I don't work below my kind."
That's when I felt a hard object smash into the right side of my face.
"I may work under my kind but you do not disrespect your mother!" Verta's voice rings, sending a pounding threw my head.
"Ou-ch... Damn.... T-that fucken hurt like a bi-bitch!" My hand clasps against my pounding temple, all while I try to peel my eyes open.
"Be smart. Stay down."
"N-no! I'm n-n-no qui-quiter!" My eyes slowly open. Blinking multiple times to clear the black spots from my vision.
"Not quitin." I mutter as I drag my legs under my stomach to use as a lever to heave my body up.
"Why don't you learn!" Verta screams as she slams her fist down on my back causing me to go slamming back into the floor.
"I did not bring you here for this!" She groans. "I am going to have to do something with you now. I can't have you running off and telling Atropos about this? Now can I?"
The last thing I saw before blacking out was the bottom of her converse sneakers.
End Of Flashback
°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•"Damn that stupid bitch!" I push my weak body up as I glance around the dark room.
One light tries its best to glow and brighten up the room, but that's not what I'm worried about.... My worst nightmares come true as I spot my dad... In wolf form chained to the wall opposite of me.
Foam drips from his blood stained mouth. His dark black and margin colored fur has bald spots. Like someone ripped handfuls out. But what got me the most was his ears.... His whole left ear was torn away, and his left ear was just barley there.
Panic raised in my throat as his eyes searched mine. Within moments of silent talking my father, Kevin, my blood, lunched himself at me tear baring.
Authors Note; I'm really sorry for this terrible chapter. This is my first time switching point of views, but as I was doing this I was unsure of exactly what I wanted to happen.
I'm also sorry if you are confused. I will make the next chapter just for explaining the clans, people, their heritage, and what events are going on. If you have any farther questions please ask. I really wish to improve my writing and maybe make this a permit hobby of mine. Thanks once again!
