Twilight was already out the door when Spike came down the stairs to get some breakfast. Twilight was across the street with a small book in one hand and her arm strait at her side. The book she was reading must have been very interesting because she was looking at it intently. Suddenly, she felt a little breeze and looked up from her book. She looked down the street to her left and in the distance she saw a little yellow school bus in the distance. She quickly read the last sentence she was reading and then put her book in a small pocket of her purple backpack. She quickly looked over herself to see if she forgot anything, loafers- check, knee high multicolored purple socks- check, lilac shirt with collar- check and purple sweater- check. Twilight felt odd though, like she was forgetting something very big, for her first day of school, though she couldn't put her finger on it. That morning she got to see her mother and father off to work, and she had a small breakfast of cereal, and that's when she started her book. She slung her backpack over her back and walked across the street to the bus stop. Even going back to her morning made think something was missing from then too. The bus was so close that it was just about to pull over to the curb, when there was a loud yelp that came from the new house. That's when Twilight finally remembered, SPIKE! Spike ran full speed across the street miraculously avoiding two cars and just making right beside Twilight just as the bus pulled over and opened it's doors for them. Spike let an embarrassed Twilight on the bus first and then climbed inside himself. They sat next to each other more towards the back, all the other kids on the bus looked at them. Twilight and Spike could hear the teens saying things like, " Were they here last year?" and "Look at her shoes, they are so hideous!" Spike looked over at Twilight. "I have a feeling this is not going to be like private school last year." He whispered to her. Twilight sighed. "This bus is so crowded and the kids are so rowdy, I hope none of these kids are in our grade!" She whispered back, but didn't turn to him. To Spike, he thought school would be how it always was private or public! But to Twilight, school would be easier, but still, being on top of homework and studies will still and always be her first priority. Twilight didn't care for her social interaction during school, unlike Spike, she was always a teachers pet. She wasn't to loud in class but she wasn't to quiet either, she always knows the answer to any question the teacher asks, and when she doesn't, she would lock her and spike and study. When the school bus stopped, everyone in the bus pushed their way out the door, leaving Twilight and Spike to get out last. Twilight looked up at her new school. Put on a defiante face and started twords her new life.
