Lexie's P.O.V:

"well what are you waiting for babe sit down" Zayn said as he pulled away from me and pulled the chair for me to sit down.

It's funny and cute how he changes personalities so fast but then again, it's also fucking confusing sometimes.

I curtsy to tease him and he rolls his eyes. I grin before sitting down and he strides over to the other side of the table.

"you're still annoying" I smirk

"yeah?"

"yeah" I nod as he pours wine in each glass, well he didn't have wine glasses so he used a simple glass.

He stands up to reach my glass and bends over the table slightly just enough to pour into my glass without spilling anything, then he sets down the bottle and nears his face to mine and my breath hitches as I get lost in his eyes.

fuck why are his eyes so fucking beautiful?

"I still like you very much even though you tease the shit out of me" he smirks looking into my eyes and I imagine swimming in those coffee colored irises of his, then his gaze goes down to my lips and he pecks them softly.

My eyes flutter close because of the soft contact and my tummy is automatically invaded by metaphorical butterflies.

"that's good then" I hum and he cocks an eye brow at me obviously amused "because I intend on teasing you every chance I get" I poke my tongue out before sipping from my wine.

"well Ms. Shay-" he starts and I cut him off

"shhh this is the part where you say 'what am I to do with you Ms. Shay'" I copy his accent and he chuckles "I've got you all figured out sir" I joked and he cocked an eye brow

"is that so?"

"hmm" I hummed

"actually I was going to say dig in, don't be so full of yourself babe" he smirked and I gasped and placed my hand on my chest to act as if I was insulted

"you sir are-" I trailed off but he cut me off

"close enough" I said before cutting into the steak

"yeah?"

"yeah." I reply before piercing the fork into the meat and bringing it to my lips and I can see Zayn watching me attentively.

"oh wow" I say stunned, I stood straight up before swallowing. "this is really good" I say and he grins in victory

"surprised?" he asked as he took a bite from his steak

"little" I smile as I reach for the salad

"are you underestimating me darling?" he smirks

"not at all sir" I respond grinning before taking a bite again.

"so" he said before clearing his throat "my mum hasn't stopped bugging me about you since the day that she saw you"

I almost chocked on my drink as I registered his words, I coughed violently as I covered my mouth with my hand while the other was on my chest,

Zayn was quick on his feet to soothe me, letting his hands comfort me gliding them up and down my back.

why the hell would he says something like that while I was drinking?!

He went and grabbed me a glass of water, my coughing died down a bit and thank god it did because my chest began to hurt.

"Jesus Lexie" Zayn breathed out flustered, raking his hands through his hair.
