Chapter 61.

Zayn's P.O.V: 

Holy fucking shit. 

"I'm glad you could make it" I hear dad greet before he strides over to Izzie to give her a hug. 

I feel Lexie shift beside me and take a deep breath. "babe" I call her softly and she looks up at me, I could feel softness in her eyes as she gives me a tight lipped smile 

"I adore you" I whisper before kissing the top of her head and swinging my arm around her waist, pulling her closer and she leans in. 

Thank God 

I thought she was going to push me away. 

"Izzie" My mom said before hugging her "I wasn't aware you invited her dear" My mother turned to look at my father 

That makes two of us. 

"Well it isn't a family outing without Izzie, now is it" My father smiles before ruffling Izzie's hair. I looked down at Lexie as she inhaled and exhaled deeply, she started fidgeting with her fingers.

 "Love come here" My dad calls out Lexie.

Lexie strays from my hold and inches closer to dad "Love, this is Izzie Zayn's best friend. Iz, this is Lexie Shay Zayn's-" 

"girlfriend, I know" Izzie finishes my dad's sentence. She flashes a smile at Lexie and they shake hands is if they're meeting each other for the first time. 

Izzie switches her gaze to look at me and honestly her expression is very vague, I feel Lexie step closer to ma and instinctively I swing my arm around her. 

Izzie and Don exchange small talk while I feel Lexie mutter something under her breath. Wal hugged Izzie and warily looked at Lexie. 

does she know about what happened? 

 "Well uhm" I clear my throat "Hey Iz" I smile, fakely. Hurt flashed before Izzie's eyes as she looked to see Lexie and I's position but she recomposed herself fast enough. 

"Hey" she smiled back, I hear my mom call out my father saying "we should really head on up stairs we have a very active day tomorrow" 

With that we all agreed and headed straight to the elevators. 

I took Lexie's hand in mine and intertwined our fingers, I rubbed my thumb against her's and she smiled lightly but I could still see the worry in her eyes and the uneasiness of her actions. 

"We'll. take the other elevator" I told everyone and they simply nodded, except for Izzie, she was looking down at her feet. 

"yes okay" My father answered and after they all stepped in their elevator door closed shut. 

Lexie and I both walked into the elevator, we were the only two people in it. I pinned her against the wall and had my hands on her waist "are you okay?" 

Lexie stayed silent and simply nodded. I took her chin and raised it so she could look at me "its you" I remind her, she turns red and leans up to kiss me, after one peck she looked at me her eyes shining and her lips opened to say something

"I lo-"
