Zayn's P.O.V

"Yeah, No mum. Lexie agreed, she'd love to go with us" I mumble through the phone as it was between my shoulder and my cheek. "so why'd we have to move it again?" I asked

"oh that's amazing sun shine, well because your father has to attend this 2 week  convetion"

I hum in response, before staring down at the papers that were scattered on my living room table.

fucking work.

"what the fuck?" I scowl at the paper that one of my students submitted.

"Zayn!"

"sorry" I said lowly, but this kid has got to be kidding me he made up his own fucking way to solve shit.

"seems like you're busy I'll see you in 4 weeks love"

"yeah okay love you mum" I sigh

"love you too"

Our conversation was turned off  and I direct my attention towards the papers.

"so how's checking going?" Izzie asked, I looked up to see her only in my t-shirt and her underwear as she held the small coffee in between her small hands

"Iz, can you please wear joggers or shorts or something" I sighed before going back go my papers.

"oh shit!" she cursed as she ran back upstairs, she must've forgotten I guess, but this isn't the first time she's done this in the past week.

"you're in your moods aren't you?" she asked before sitting down on the other sofa, completely clothed.

"I never thought teaching would be this fucking stressful" I groaned and marked yet another wrong answer.

Izzie has been here for about 2 weeks now, I mean I don't mind obviously but I do miss Lexie. I haven't been able to spend as much time with her as I would like.

"Zayn I miss you" Izzie pouts and I roll my eyes playfully "let's go to a fair or something" she beamed and I consider it for a minute but push it away as I remember that I was taking Lexie  to the movies.

"sorry Iz, I'm taking Lexie out." I said and she groaned "you've been with your girlfriend all week"

"No I haven't,I've been with you and frankly I miss her" I said as I graded yet another failed paper

"fine leave me be" she sighed and I knew what she was doing "I miss my best friend and he's ditching me" I smirked in amusement as she tried to make me feel guilty  "for a girl"

"she's not just a girl" I remind her sternly

She laid down dramatically on the sofa and sighed heavily "still no effect?" she asked

"non whatsoever" I smirked and fixed up the papers before in casing them in a folder.

Izzie groaned "c'mon Zayn" and I smirked before striding over to her and kissing her forehead "I'm going to go get ready."

Lexie's P.O.V:

"I haven't seen him in  2 weeks or so" I sighed "what is up with that?" Jasmine asked
