I approach the body and immediately recognize him. It is Liam Reynolds. What is he doing here? He is supposed to be at college. Liam is hung from a ripped basketball net. There is a bruise on the left side of his face, and a stab wound on his right hand.
I feel sorry because this wasn't supposed to happen to him. He was already going to college. I realize that there is nothing I can do now except cut him down. I walk into the cafeteria and grab a chair. I place it underneath the rafter that is next to where the rope is tied. I pull the knife out that I confiscated from the killer and cut the net. Liam's body falls, but I catch him before he crashes on the ground and slowly set him down.
I rise and walk back into the concession stand and walk down the stairs into the secret passageway. I stop because I realize that I may not be able to find the way back to the concession stand. I look down and see a shiny rock. I pick it up and scratch it on the wall. It males marks like chalk on a chalkboard.
I scratch it as I walk through the hall to the office. I see the endless scratch mark when I arrive below the hatch in the office vault. I pull myself up and walk out of the vault.
I sneak my way through the hall. I find myself minutes later outside of Mrs. Manning's room. I knock on the door. No one answers. Derek should know what to do. I knock again. No replying knock.
I grab the knob to make sure it is locked. I turn it. It's not unlocked! I place little pressure on the door so it will open slowly. There is sign of movement within the room. There is no sign of life within the classroom. I walk in further. Splash. I look down to see that I stepped in a puddle... A puddle of blood.
