It was a sunny Autumn day when Lockwood and Lucy, were raking up the Orange-red leaves that had fallen from the trees within their garden. A challenge was taking place between the two. It was a challenge of who could create the biggest pile of leaves, the winner would get an extra slice of battenburg at tea.

Both tried their hardest, trying to collect them all before night fell and the ghosts came out to play. Lockwood most likely would have won if it wasn't for his annoyingly long coat, he'd sweep the leaves up and as he turned his coat would knock them over back onto the floor. Lucy (who found this rather amusing) may have being slow to collect them but as you know slow and steady wins the race, her pile gradually grew bigger and bigger.

As it neared the end of the day we stopped, Lockwood smiled and dropped his rake laughing at his pathetic attempt of a pile. My rake soon joined his on the floor.

"Well it looks like you won Luce!" He said enthusiastically.
"Nooo, you totally won," I replied sarcastically. (Spelling?)
He just laughed and said,
"It's getting dark,we should head in."

I was walking towards the back door with Lockwood when all of a sudden my foot got caught on rake. I luckily fell onto my pile of leaves, all that hard work ruined in one moment.
Lockwood, who had mirrored my actions, also tripped over a rake and was right next to me in his small pile, can't imagine that broke his fall very much. Making eye contact, we burst out laughing at our own stupidity.

After about 5 minutes of full out laughter Lockwood stood up and held out a hand towards me. Grabbing it he pulled me up into his arms and held me close.

"L-Lockwood what a-are you doing!?!" I stuttered, blushing about 10 different shades of red.
He smiled a heart stopping smile and said, "I like you Luce, I have ever since our mission at Combe Carey Hall, will you be my girlfriend?" He questioned.

Blushing scarlett I whispered, "of course."

He then leaned in and captured my lips with his.
